Alicia Kim, there is a saying, "What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger." The ending of your marriage knocked you down, but thank God that He raised you back up, set you on your feet, and continues to strengthen you. He also gave you courage to leave your familiar surroundings of Florida and move to another State. Not to mention, He gave you strength, courage, and ability to drive all those miles and make it to your new home safely. It definitely wasn't easy, but God!!! Vlogtober has been very enjoyable. I find that when I feel lonely, spending my time praying and worshipping helps a lot, as well as getting out of that environment for a while also helps. The park you're in is beautiful. Be safe and keep sharing your daily adventures. You're inspiring others to do something positive in a bad situation. God bless you.

Being alone doesn't mean you are lonely. I've been single most of my adult life. It only got a bit depressing during the winter months in the U.S. However, I always enjoyed my own company. I traveled around the world by myself. I met nice people along the way. I moved back to Jamaica to be with someone I had been dating for a few months. However, things only lasted a few months once I moved back. I had gotten used to having them around, and I couldn't imagine life here without them. I wanted to pack up and run. However, I decided to stay in the country I love so much. Now, I am back to enjoying my own company, going out and enjoying this beautiful island, and taking regular trips overseas again!

Alicia, I am divorced. I was with the same person since I was 14. Since the divorce, I've bought my own car (a new one) and my own house. There is such a freeing feeling that comes with being single at times. I was part of a unit so long that I lost myself in that relationship. A lot of people think that when you get a divorce that you just sign papers and move on, but I had to grieve the relationship. I had to heal. Even though I was the one that filed and wanted out, I went through a period of self doubt and feeling depressed. I had to find ME. I had to figure out who I am and what I like/love. I've even gotten selfish with my time. I hang out alone and with my friends/family, and I love my life. There are times that I look back and think to myself, "I didn't know my own strength". I thought I'd struggle after the divorce, but I'm doing better than when I was married. Emotionally, it was a a bit tough, but once I got over that hurdle, it's been free flowing. I'm in a great place now. The happiest I've been. Your time is coming...
