I'm really surprised about the sequence here. Feels like they specifically coded this combo to work. (how deathwing gets stolen before mecha'thun dies and also discards the hand before mecha'thun dies)
Deathrattle effects have always triggered and resolved in timestamp order, so Sylvanas's deathrattle, so Mecha'thun's deathrattle will always be the last to resolve in this combo.
Brilliant! Tried your decks a lot, but it's really hard to enjoy winning sometimes for me as you do. For other players that wants comfortably play meme decks - reach some checkpoint(like silver5), then immediately concede 10-15 times on start of new game to lower your hidden rank. And then try deck. Without this you will see many aggro or solid decks which will kick your a*s each game and no enjoyment for you. Maybe Mark should create some manual how to pilot meme deck and keep emotional stability =)
This is a version of then Mecha-thun combo which relies on minions to satisfy Mecha-thun’s conditions: deck empty, hand empty, board empty. Aviana and the King guy are mana enablers for the combo, The Jailer is just there to empty your deck, and Deathwing will empty your hand and board… except that Deathwing doesn’t quite empty your board because he doesn’t kill himself. Giving the enemy a Sylvanas gets around that by causing Deathwing to go to the enemy’s side after it clears, since it will be the only target for Sulvanas. With that done, Mecha-thun right after should have all its conditions satisfied and thus win the game.
Note that this is a showy/cool style combo that shows off a lot of fun animations, but is super vulnerable to disruption with so many important minions, and takes a long time to be ready since you need all that stuff in hand. It’s just for fun!
Hey @eamonmulholland3159, got it, thanks for explaining! I was totally lost. I stopped playing a while back - couldn't keep up with all the new sets - but I still think Hearthstone's awesome to play or watch; it'll always be special to me. I played back in 2015 and quit around Witchwood
@ Not necessarily. It's based entirely on the order in which they entered play. If you had a DR minion in play and then the opponent played one and then you wiped the board, your minion will activate first because it was on the board first.
@@SentenceToDESU my example sinrunner blanchy litterally does the same thing but instead of mind controlling just straight up kills deathwing and mechathun resolves. i just suggested it since mark uses some obsucre cards in his combos sometimes.
@@valik7907 oh, now I get it, the card you referring to is called just sinrunner (got me a liitle confused). Well I guess than the meme reason to use specifically Sylvannas here could be so otk would involve legendary minions only:)
@@SentenceToDESU Oh wow i genuinely thought its called "sinrunner blanchy" since i also play WoW and that card is based on a mount with that name, so i automatically thought it had the same name in HS. good to know.
@@valik7907 well, there is a card called sinrunner blanchy, but its a battlegrounds card only. But I didnt know that, googled pictures of the card with this name, for some reason found a version which had manacost 6 instead of stars (or whatever they called idk), and thought it also in standard hearthstone. Which is why I got confused, since sinrunner blanchy has a reborn and something to do with buffs on this minion, and I was like "how can this replace Sylvannas lol"
It’s always time for games! Remember to subscribe to the channel and like the video! Thanks so much for watching!
Deck destroyed. Hand destroyed. Playing field destroyed. Opponent destroyed. This combo is essentially a table-flip that causes you to win.
So just Mechathun...
@Krenisphiaoi vrgin
Isn’t that HS in a nutshell now? No matter the format?
Druid decks (in wild) are the closest thing to what Priest used to be 6 or 7 years ago
Nozdormu jumpscare
Probably one of the best options to get there, but Mark is just too fast
omg surprise nozdormu was insane hahahha
Perfect video length! Kudos to you, Mark!
What year is it
2009
I like that in the first match the opponent is clearly a Mark fan letting him cook
No it’s hostage mage
Point is he spams solid alibi to ruin game
最後デスが相手の盤面いるの芸術点高すぎる
Thanks,man 🐉😎

Deathwings effect immediatly resolves while deathratte triggers in order they where played

13:37 time

I don't understand why you need Sylvanas and Silas in the deck.
I haven't played this game since the Witchwood expansion. Can someone please explain?

I think that demon seed is there just for the insta-concede factor.
Excellent game
Impressive
Mark hitting them with the vintage special
aviana kun is back
I don't how it's possible but i was just thinking about a Deathwing/Mechtoon OTK.
And i open youtube and see this
You say in the thumbnail this is your favorite combo, but after all these years, what truly is your favorite combo?
does this otk work 50% of the times?? because of the deathrattles of sylvanas and mechatun
Deathrattles trigger in the order the minions were played. So, you MUST play Sylvanas before Mechathun, but if you do, the combo will work.
Deathrattles trigger in the order that minions entered play.
So long as you play Sylvanas before Mecha'thun the combo will always work.
I'm pretty sure the following should also be true: Enemy deathrattles always trigger first.
@ Not necessarily. It's based entirely on the order in which they entered play.
If you had a DR minion in play and then the opponent played one and then you wiped the board, your minion will activate first because it was on the board first.
Maybe try an Infested Tauren OTK to hype up the Starcraft Miniset.
Boring card, I know, but I'm sure you can find a way.
Missed opportunity to use something more random than sylvanas like sinrunner blanchy
Why? Sylvannas role here is to give Deathwing to enemy which makes Mechathun deathrattle available to trigger, since there is no minions on your board
