    Considering the 8se. Need a camera too. DSLR, of course. If I spend 500 or 1K or 2K, will I observe a difference in image quality? I'm in research mode so if you can provide any insite would be appreciated.

      The type of camera you get will make a big difference for sure. But the bigger difference would be getting a new equatorial mount.
