Bbrew makes the t4 and t5 bramble grasp attack go nuts. I think it even makes the t3 go crazy. the recent "nerf" to the bramble grasp also let it get buffed, which is such a boon. I think its pierce use while alch buffed is among the best in the game. Also, I do wonder if 052 with the +10% attack speed is good, idk if you've ever noticed but the SotF's bramble grasp attack SHREDS, doing absurd DPS, so long as it can find cerams to grasp. 98 gets shredded by SotF once it breaks the first moab down.
its probably decent especially because the strongest brambles get better area i think with 051 and the base attack is kinda strong and attack speed boosts brambles i think. 1/250 is better though cos extra pierce on main attack (and brambles i think) and i assume that cos the main attack gets buffed the thunder does too, i’ll check and reply in a sec
The rate buffability doesn't really help much when the vine still takes 3 whole seconds to grab and break a ceramic, no matter how much attack speed you give it. The change ends up being an unjustly massive nerf to its lategame power.
@@yolochip4889 the grab and bust isnt the main strength of the jungle's bounty or SotF. Its the damage they do to bloons OVER the grasp vine. SotF grasp vine especially does enough dps to shred apart moabs and even BFBs, far surpassing the dps it does with the close 3rd level vines. If you can benefit that grasp vine, SotF becomes an even greater beast.
The recent changes have felt like a significant overall nerf in consistency. Lot of random fortified ceramics leaking that didn't leak before because less instakills. Still probably my favorite tower though. I like using it with archmage and corvus and of course relentless, concoction, moab presses etc. Corvus can both do MOAB damage and frostbound/repel keeps the brambles stacked in the same spot which makes it more consistent.
The change is actually a straight-up massive nerf to its lategame power because giving the vines attack speed doesn't matter when they're capped at 3 seconds to finish grabbing a ceramic.
I never see spirit or the forest as using it for the vine grab (also tier 3 and tier 4 have no use for super ceramic cleanup even before the change.) instead I always approach it by getting something that might grab the super ceramics at the end like an arctic wind so the spirit can destroy as many ceramics as the ice can hold (which is a lot). Either that is position the spirit so the main damaging vines will be over where ceramics and moabs are which will just kill them. I never worry about the grab vine in the lategame or even consider it.
@@Chom_Chom I more consider the remnant vines after the grab to be important but I've noticed that less of the grabs has made a difference on some of the harder maps. Mostly just missing very specific clutch grabs that would've probably happened before and those situations are more memorable because they're annoying.
The dabloon tower.

thunder does get buffed

051 doesnt increase stronger vine spread

@@Chom_Chom isn't the thorn pile left by the grab vine supposed to be most of the tower's power, though?
@@yolochip4889 yes, that pile is located where the spirit of the forest itself is located.

Spirit of the FooF
My favorite path in the game
just wondering what in your setup in the mid game was popping camos in the first game? was a little confused
obyn gives camo detection to all druids in range at level 8
