This is helpful as I'm getting started with the okta mfa api in my custom app. Unfortunately, my very recent imported Postman collection for 'Factor Verification Operations' does not contain 'Verify and Poll Push Factor'. This makes learning difficult.
@9.45 - "errorSummary": "This operation is not allowed in the current authentication state.", Facing this issue for 'Enroll Okta verify Push Factor',how to resolve it?
This usually occurs when the stateToken has expired (more than 5 minutes has elapsed) or, there's something else in the way - like the account is suspended. Can you give me more detail on the results of previous calls leading up to the error you received?
@@afitnerd Even I'm facing the same issue while sending the API from Okta verify push factor. I'm setting the stateToken from the Primary Authentication and factorId is not being generated and instead showing the above error.
@@afitnerd Seems that the configured username and password attributes were not being passed within Postman. I fixed this issue by deleting and re-creating the same attributes again within Postman. All working now. Thanks.
Hi Srinag: I created this video originally. Would you give me some more information on what you're seeing has changed? The MFA API is pretty stable. But, I'd be happy to address any specific concerns.
We recently changed our admin console. However, you should still be able to find everything. Users and Groups are under Directory now and Applications are under the Applications menu. API is now Security > API.

How to know when the user has scanned the QR Code so that we could move to the next screen in our custom app to prompt the user to enter the code?
Didn't find Security => Multifactor in new UI
Postman v7.14.0 (with OKTA v 2019.12.0) generates the error "The request body was not well formed." despite using the exact same setup steps.
I'll take a look at this in the new year and see if I need to update. Thanks!
