It sets the tone for the day... to choose Life all the day long, every day, and hold onto Jesus more closely. Love the story of the woman at the well. It blesses my heart and soul, that God's love can reach us wherever and whoever we are. He loves us. All we have to do is receive Him, is what this message is saying to me, and He never leaves us. This message is sooo good. I have searched for God's truth and questioned the religion I was brought up in. I am grateful my husband brought me to Living Word but my family believes I am going to a cult. My sister even said she had to take an oath when she was baptized to judge others. I love this message, you have explained so well how Jesus came to save us with Love not to condemn us. It's so true right now how many are not attracted to being a christian because of feeling judged. So many things have happened that were done in the name of God but are not of God. When we go out and show love to others as Jesus does, people will come. Through my change and loving my husband more and being the wife he desires, he shows me more love I desire and we can show others in our testimony that great marriages exist. We always watch and listen to how you talk about your marriage and discuss ours alot. We love how much we have put God as our focus and fed our marriage with so much love and Grace. Thank you God for loving us so we can show others that LOVE is ENOUGH.
This message ministered to me in the area of parenting. Especially with adult children. I have found that there's no need for me to point out all the things that I feel like my kids should be doing. Instead, love them exactly where they are so that they feel comfortable sharing with me the things that they're struggling with. So powerful!
My youth min professor at GCU would always say "the problem is never the problem." The addiction isn't the problem. The depression isn't the problem. Whatever problem people come to you with is not the problem. There's always a root cause of the problem. We need Jesus. We need Holy Spirit to show us the root so real change can happen and we can experience that freedom from sin. Such a good word, Pastor Jason.
