Wow these are amazing. Im in lansing and it was bad. Still without power. I have family in Comstock Park and i guess they had a tornado come through and was told their neighborhood was "destroyed." Hope you are damage free.
Oh wow! I'm very sorry to hear you're without power still and you're family in Comstock Park had such a bad outcome! ☹We were very fortunate and one of the reasons I went out on my porch to record was because we were planning on sheltering in our basement but I kept hearing the crickets and frogs and decided I had to stick my head out to what's happening. I kept awaiting the "brunt" of the storm to hit us until it seemed it was slightly North of us and had mostly-passed to our East headed your way. Amazing display of lightning which I really didn't capture as well as I'd liked and in hindsight, should have been on the North side (my backyard) where I think the bulk of the "show" was being presented. I sure hope your power comes on soon, that's a long time without it and I'll hope for your family North of us that they're damage isn't too severe. @WorksIRL thanks, I appreciate that. Their house was lucky with very minimal damage, but parts of the neighborhood are shut down due to damage to trees and power lines. To think I discovered your channel for an air compressor video and now watching these. Love your channel for all the different things you capture.
