When they're complaining about me in tractor on narrow roads, i just say."Welcome to the country" usually pisses them off, which is the idea,😂 lol. The local country folk are fine sensible and know the story.
Never understand some people, they can pull into a wide part of the road, but no they keep coming then they expect you to reverse a tractor or a jeep with a trailer on, maybe backwards up a hill that you cant see behind with on coming traffic. I generally just park her up and wait.
You are spot on about 2nd hand tractors and the mad money being asked for them . I thought I would be able to afford something semi decent after few yrs finishing cattle but not a hope
Shame that wasn’t the case, would be plenty of licences revoked. Some lads and lassies cannot grip the concept of reversing and it’s stupid really as it’s a skill and can be improved with a bit of practice and advice
Well I’d disagree about the standard if driving in Ireland. Although some might be bad but spend a day in my van with me in London and I’ll show shite driving like you’ve never seen. Love seeing the Kerry countryside 👍🏻👍🏻
The cvx looks really smooth on those back roads. Great suspension on them and no grabing for gears.

Around me all the new tractors dealers are quiet, and older tractors with less electrics or no dpf and ad blue are selling for crazy money.

Totally agree. It's obvious the size of a tractor and implement, the width of the road so for me I keep aware of where I can reverse to of I have too.
