The way I saw it in collusion chaos is sonic was protecting Amy from metal and that’s why am wasn’t scared but it did a complete 180 in stardust speedway
Honestly, with the mania boss fight, i could just see this as eggman building a sonic adroid to replace metal which leads to metal rebelling/proving his superiority
bruhh i think eggman reliaze that he needs the real sonic instead of the robot one then eggman try to recruits sonic and somehow sonic aggred and now metal sonic trying to defeat sonic to get his boss back 💀💀💀💀
