Give a warm welcome to Tasha the Amazon who is joining us for our brand new series, Floralogic.
Danielle is smokin hot and I cant help myself to not comment about how
attractive I think she is. P.S i've seen her without a mask so I know
i'm not all about those sexy eyes
Ohh my.... Danielle I love you very much but I..... I.... I think I like Tasha the Amazon too.... 💘
Welcome, Tasha. How about discussing another sensitive plant: the mimosa? I've been fascinated by them ever since I first touched one on a trip to Costa Rica and Mexico as a kid
@John Drummond
Just wanted to let u know that the video about mimosas was just published an hour ago
Flies when a Venusflytrap tries to catch them: I sleep
Flies when I try to catch them: I am speed
when i was 8 and dont know the size of them, i thought they could eat us humans
You can thank the Mario Piranha Plant for associating that scale with them
Let's get an episode on flora that rely on forest fires to pollinate.
That has always fascinated me.
Yes! And there are plants like that all over the world, so it won’t be a one plant video.
I think you mean germinate. Insects and other small creatures do the pollinating, then the seeds that are produced stay dormant until there is a fire
Theres also a plant in Australia that has to be passed through the digestive tract of an emu in order for it to grow! Weird huh?!🤔
I was born and raised in NC and never knew the venus fly trap was a native species. How is that not our state plant!?
Thanks for the knowledge.
That would be really cool! Way better than these damn pecan trees and blue bonnets in Texas.
That because it would be unfair to other states and our lame plants lol.
I have one of these at home. I’ve kept pitcher plants but always wanted to keep a Venus flytrap so I got one for my birthday two years ago. Still doing well. One of the coolest plants out there
@@marcosduran1443 no you don't. It'll catch bugs by itself. Even if it doesn't catch anything for a while, it'll still be alive and well.
I'm loving EVERYTHING of this. I'm personally interested in all kinds of succulents; water lilies too.
Hey here's a tip.... Whenever you get a succulent you can pull off a leaf and plant it and it'll grow into a separate plant.
Ah, my mistake! I thought Floralogic would be another channel I'd get to subscribe to! Well, I'll just be sure to keep tuning in here! Same Biologic time, same Biologic place!
If Floralogic is going to be a regular series, I'd like an episode on orchids the super diverse, crazy lovely, parasites of the forest
i had a friend who thought they could snap bone or something. I went to a store bought one, then stuck my finger into it infront of them.
I feel like my mind was blown within the first minute. My entire life, I thought these things grew in jungles all over the world. Lol
Ohh I'm exited for this new series.
Hope we get to see a Nightshade video
YES THIS IS INCREDIBLE SHOW ME THE LEAFY BOIS
For anyone wanting this, remember that they also appreciate full sun and are temperate plants that go dormant. Make sure you respect their daily and annual cyclical needs.
they'll get respect once they start paying some bills around here...
How do they know when not to trap a friendly insect though? That's the only new thing I learned thus far.
Sensors... seems those bugs pollinate for them so they know certain bug smells
@@rickrolledtruth5834 but how do they know the difference between a pollinator and food though?
Agreed hopefully she will do a more in depth redo, you can’t say “this plant eats anything that touches its two sensors, except for certain bugs.” And then end it on a cliff hanger like that. Loved it otherwise. Oh and she didn’t mention they need lots of sun light.
@anonymous 67 the question is once the pollinator is inside the plant *how does the plant know that it's not food?* Unless you can give me an answer to that question you do not need to respond with information that has nothing to do with what I'm asking. I don't care how they found the plant. I want to know how the plant tells the difference between a pollinator and food.
@anonymous 67 ok, sooooooooo *how* does the sticky substance know the difference between food and pollinators? This still doesn't answer my question. Why does food get stuck and pollinators don't get stuck? How does a sticky substance with no brain tell the difference between food and pollinators?
great idea for a series! as a suggestion: I would love for you to cover iridescent plant species like begonia pavonina or the genus bucephalandra. Their shining leaf colours are quite a stunner!
Oh wait I have an idea: The Crested Gecko! I have one of those guys and I think the world should know more about them.
I love plants so much! I actually have 70 in my house.
Yayy! As much as I love animals, and I really really do, I freaking adore plants for some reason. So I'm super excited for Floralogic!! This was a great episode
I'm a really huge fan of Animalogic & I love this new addition Floralogic! Gonna to be lovin' all this content that you ladies will put out and thank you both! 💕

I did have one, when I was about 6 years old. I am Now 54. I lived in Edgecombe County, Tarboro NC at that time. I would watch it catch flies in my small back porch. So Amazing to watch. Thanks again for sharing. I now live in Wilmington NC. Hope everyone has a Wonderful day. ❤️🇺🇸❤️
I am super happy to see a plant version of Animalogic. This is one of my new favs! I can't express how excited I am!
You should do ragweed because it’s so common in the midwest and makes life miserable for so many people (allergies).
This is so exciting! Cant wait for more! Thanks Tasha!

I LOVE the concept of FLORALOGIC 💚
my ideas for next videos are the corpe flower and the mimosa 🌿
Excited for this new series
Such a lovley new series! I think you guys should start with the carnivorous plants first! The the pitcher plant and the other family of fly trap
What is better than starting floralogic with carnivorous plant... amazing!
If you guys made an entire channel for plant logic I would love it!!!
I’m so happy to see the new botany videos!! Without plants there is no life of course 🌱🌳
I'm loving this new series, I hope you guys also discuss about flowers and their meanings.
Cool video. Perfect plant for the new series. 🙂👍🌱🌿
Ooh I think I just found a new favorite series!!! :D
I'm excited about this new series
Woot woot!!! Excited to see what's next!
I've always enjoyed admiring Venus Flytraps! I used to collect them as a child.
When I was Elementary school, we had a Venus Fly Trap garden and we all thought it was the coolest thing! It wasn't until I was much older that I learned that they're only native to the Carolinas. Amazing plant!
More of these videos, literally loved it!!!
So happy about Floralogic
This is great stuff.
Low-key looking forward to the 4/20 episode
Excited to see this new series.
I love animalogic! And now floralogic?! Amazing! I love plants!
Tasha's music is amazing
for those curious about how they close it's by what we call a positove thigmotropic response. Where the plants reacts to touch (thigmo) stimuli. The water and ions within the cells rapidly rush to the walls of the cells when touch is detected which causes the fly trap to close. After some time the response wears off and the cells return to normal going from turgid to flaccid.
Love Tasha for floralogic!! She seems like a great fit for it, and I love her laid back personality!!
An "Animalogic"... for plant nerds? This is a dream come true!
These plants are even more amazing than I thought they were. Now I want one of my own...
Now I've got 2 favourite presenters on the channel!
I love creatures and plants, especially carnivorous plants, I even own a couple of cape sundews, can't wait to see more from floralogic, like the weird chameleon vine
Well done, she is amazing. I want more!!!!!!
While most plants are patient enough to wait for most things to compost - this one's a lot more proactive about the process.
YES. Give me more botany. Give me all the information you can
*pointing a fun at them*
GIB PLANT
You look like the drummer of Animals As Leaders.
