    Hey guys that video was cool,
    Sad story to hear about the fish keeper passing away but I’m happy you got to rescue the tank,
    The next time you reframe a tank try using some lacquer thinner to soften up the glue, and after you let it set
    You are able to use a plastic putty squeegee to remove it in the work on do I have to re-move silicone off alters for the Catholic Church sometimes they use silicone to add on the bottom a Tabernacle‘s to secure it to the altar
    But we use lacquer thinner to remove it, also good tip with the steel wool,
    I will try that out on my top Fish tank cover,
    Dan did a good job on the painting the draws, I do gold plating work for a living so maybe the next tank I get I will painted all gold that wold be cool lol
    Can’t wait to see you at the angelfish to the tank angel fish are really fun fish to have and quite beautiful

      Thanks so much Tommy hope things are going good we’re going all out on this one it’s going to have all the bells and whistle’s probably end up being one of our most favorite tanks of all time and I would’ve ended up in a junkyard can you believe that we put an amazing background on this thing today after doing the leak test fill it with water to the top for 10 days no leaks at all this is gonna be a fun one probably about a four part series

    • @jackanddan
      @jackanddan 3 роки тому +1

      Thanks so much Larry this was really the biggest part of the job the stand is all complete and this is all complete and we filled it with water and it stayed full for 10 days with no leaks so we don’t have to reseal it they just don’t make them like they used to there’s so much silicone in this tank and this glass is so thick it’ll probably never leaked for 100 years…. Probably shouldn’t say that but hopefully it’s true….This weekend we are working on a really unique cool background we’ve never really done before with glitter paint believe it or not and Christmas lights to try to simulate a starry background…. We also acquired the original under gravel filter with it but it had no stacks so we have to make some adjustments and we’re definitely going to do some Jack and Dan customization to it so that we can utilize it along with the believe it or not original pump which we may have to work on as well will see we haven’t even tested that yet….The stand is done and in the house and it came out quite unique and this will probably be like a four part series since we are doing so much this thing but it’s very exciting and it’s going to go right around the corner from the 220 and the two of them will really make that room we are going to put angels in this along with the candy cane Tetra from Jack’s bridge tanks because they are all growing that we think they will be good for the bottom and the angels will be good for the top we’ll see how it all goes and unfolds
