- Pakistani Reacts to Indian National Anthem Jana Gana Mana जन गण मन) is the national anthem of India. Written By Sanskritised (Tatsama) Bengali, it is the first of five stanzas of a Brahmo hymn composed and scored by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. It was first sung in Calcutta Session of the Indian National Congress on 27 December 1911. "Jana Gana Mana" was officially adopted by the Constituent Assembly as the Indian national anthem on 24th January 1950. 27th December 2011 marked the completion of 100 years of Jana Gana Mana since it was sung for the first time.

Sourav this is not actually in sanaskrit. It is Sanaskrtized from Bengali and used only those words of Bangla dictionary that used most of Indian languages as a common factor. That may be used as noun and also as verbs. Actually it is old Bengali language for writing SADHU BHASAH

This debate has been settled long ago. The song is an ode to the People of India, who are supposed to make the destiny of India, not some foreign King or Queen. Only mischievous people tend to misinterpret the song by citing inaccurate references.
