I'm riding my 18th Harley-Davidson, a 2020 FLSL. I owned and rode four Buells, a Cyclone, Blast, Xb9r, and a 1125r. The 1125r I rode from San Diego, CA to Seattle then across this beautiful country the year after The Motor Company dropped the brand. What that trip taught me, without dealer support getting the most out of your motorcycle riding experience is a challenge. The Xb9r in my opinion was the best engineered air-cooled Sportster platform and lump that Harley-Davidson ever produced. I wish those Michigan folks the best and I hope they sell the brand and the Super Cruiser to someone who is as passionate as they are and brings it to market. Thank you for sharing, Ride Free

Thanks for the Buell update. Interesting how the Super Cruiser still uses a cable actuated throttle and not ride by wire. I bet those Ohlins FGR’s don’t make the final cut. Hopefully that ugly ass Flowmaster hanging on the bottom does get cut! I get they’re still in prototype design, but Jesus Christ get a hold of that exhaust boyz! We’ll see what front and rear master cylinders make the final cut too. Hopefully SC or Akropovic come to the rescue for a slick aftermarket titanium exhaust. And hopefully Buell can offer a downloadable tuning file for it. Sorry California and your CARB regs. Remember, when Indian was shopping around that bitchin prototype FTR for a whole year? Remember how badass it was with those S&S high side pipes, plenty of carbon fiber, and trick high end Ohlins suspension, (not the D rated stuff either). Everything would end up costing too much, be too loud, not comply with EPA. And sure enough😆 what hit the floor in final production was a lawn turd we have today 👎 it’s actually a nice bike to ride, but holy shit! it’s like looking at a walrus‘s ass.
