The fact they called him a *(Novelist)* in reference to his ability and experience with Writing, it makes me hopeful about my future as a writer
Ya know?
Have to be a freemason 1st. Don't let ernie & these lirs deceive you.
Ernest Cline is James Halliday.
Ria Cassava he seems to be gregarious so he is more like ogden morrow.😁✌
@@shaider1982 he's both
Nah, Cline is the equivalent to Wade taking the deal from the Sucksors. Literally. He sold his Amazing book to these corporate lackies that stamped out a GARBAGE movie with NO soul.
Mark Zuckerberg is james Halliday because he will bring the METAVERSE to real life 😁 👍
@@shaider1982 I understood that reference 🤣👉👉
I loved this book; I couldn't put it down. I was in junior high and high school in the 80s, so this book hit all the right places.
You should read his poetry. Edgar Allen who?
What did you think of the movie?
@@Mini-Toast_ Edgar Allen Poe
I went to high school with Ernie, in the 80's. He's best friends with my cousin, who jUst so happens to be 1 of the top growers in the world. Not a coincidence.
Movie was great. Book was great.
Very different versions of a similar tale, both told very well.
Ray Bordier I haven’t read the novel but I personally thought the dialogue was extremely embarrassing. It was all exposition and over explaining
Matthew Mertens that was pretty much all of the book, cringe nostalgia mixed with excessive exposition. The book is mediocre at best
No wonder it is so popular.
The book is amazing! The movie is amazing! Thank You Ernest Cline and Steven Spielberg!
The movie had no soul. It was like watching something beautiful get raped.
@@AndrewLyon23damn 💀 kinda true but damn what a comparison
Truly , Ready Player One is one of the best movies ever made 😁👍
@@salihawouda2992I’m sorry but I have to strongly disagree. Art3mis is my favorite literary character and they ruined her. As a woman with a birthmark this was the first time I had a character that was not tragic. She was a nerd like me highly competitive sarcastic and most importantly a girl that a boy desired. I don’t blame Olivia cook because I think with the right direction she would be perfect. But Spielberg took out her soul. He also made her face reveal cringy and the makeup was awful. 12 & holding is a tiny independent film with a small budget and they did a much better job with the port wine stain.
@@kwill84 I also lived the movie 🍿🎥 , 10/10 recommend 👌
His daughter used to come to my school and I saw the delorion
Ernest Cline is my hero, and I am a huge fan of his work.
Ready Player One is the best movie ever 😁👍
That was I think the fastest I ever read a book. As a fan of pop culture of the 80s/90s I was completely in awe. Happy for him to see his dreams made real (at least on film just yet).
This dude was hard to listen to on coast to coast. Aaa, err aaa ,err. With that being said....glad he went for it and achieved success no matter the odds
I loved the book and the movie 😁
Bother the book and movie is amazing I can’t wait for RP2 book and movie. And I heard armada is going to be a movie
Hyper-Enforcer Armada already has a movie it’s called the last starfighter
Can’t wait for RP2 though, already read the first one 6 times
Is armada a good book thinking about giving it a read
2:10 we came a long way from pong 🥹
Ernest cline is an awesome writer. Ready player one satisfied my geeky soul
The book and film are a work of art.
I had to put the book down after chapter 2.
Too bad
I wouldn't put that on a job application.....
That is my friends dad and Libby is my best friend
"Be free about what you love & why you love it & not afraid or worried about what other people think about your love or you passions. Just be BOLD and celebrate the things that you're passionate about & amazing things can happen!" 4:35.
It's very good advice unless your passions are illegal and/or socially frowned upon, lol.
I want to *be Ernest Cline*
You want ro be a freemason sellout ? No, ya don't, I fact.
STOP. Get off UA-cam right now and GO SEE THE MOVIE.
The movie is GARBAGE.
Hot Chubber!
This book was nothing but nostalgic garbage. Reading it had a bunch of cringe moments. It only got really popular when rumors surrounded it was getting a movie.
Not true
It was nothing but cringe, self congratulatory lists of references, misogyny, etc. the dialogue was awful
It's written by a freemason sellout, so there's that.
Now do an Armada movie!
watch Ender's Game
@@KevinArcade87 was not impressed with that movie
ready player two, sequel book would be sick.
Check it out man
@@anthonyespinoza4250 im planning to read it, im happy about the newd
Shame that he ruined all the characters.
