Kerry-Lou, I'm so embarrassed after all these years of curling my eyelashes, I attempted ( your method ) and they CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL ! So grateful to have found your channel, thank you and many many hugs from New York.

Thank you for this helpful tutorial! How often do you recommend we clean our brushes like this if we use them almost daily?

Everyone would give you a different answer I think. I have dry skin, so I wash brushes that are just used on my face, the larger fluffy ones, every month, as there isn't a lot of oily build up on them. The liner brushes I clean almost every time, because the stay-on liners tend to make them stiff and gummy, just a swipe of alcohol is fine for that. If I use separate brushes for different colors, one for light colors, one for dark colors, again I do them once a month.

Should we be cleaning our eyelash curler also? Using cotton balls? Might the alcohol dry out the little rubber pads?

I give mine a swipe with alcohol, and it doesn't seem to dry out the silicone pad.

Can you buy brushes separately? I have 3 I need that I saw in your video for hooded eyes. I can’t find where to buy them.

HI Melessa, I don't usually offer them outside of the set, but kindly email me, (see video description) and I will help you purchase brushes outside of set :-D

Rather than buying yet another oil, could I use one of the oils I already have? Right now I've got marula facial oil (Trader Joe's on a whim), Chagrin Valley's Makeup Remover cleansing oil, caster oil, almond oil...

Sorry for the late reply, as long as the oil is not too thick it's OK, caster oil tends to be too thick.
