She's not hating on America. She is just trying to help us. What a real friend.
This is comedic genius with a powerful message.. The world needs her comedy..
She has that legendary potential 💯
Somebody sample that beef cheese bacon bit and turn it into a song
Right! Just like they did with the "Beans, greens, potatoes, toma" song!
This is so ON POINT! This might shock many in the US - especially if you presently buy into all the stuff these commercials try to sell you! There are many other ways to address whatever issue one might have and gain lasting well-being but it's much easier to give our consent over to the marketeers of for-profit corporations. Thank you, Gina, and love Bob Hearts Abishola!
Love Gina!!!!!
I laughed out loud…then cried laughing at the $5…5…5…we all know that one! I’m so hoping she comes to ATL or opens up Zoom tix soon!
Fantastic & so darn true!
she keeps it real love her 🤣🤣
I'm crying 😂😂
So many Americans with no sense of humor in these comments.
Right? I'm a fat American with restless leg syndrome and ADHD, and I laughed out loud. She's so good. I've seen several of her specials and she always makes me laugh. Some just prefer to be offended, miss the joke, and stay miserable.
Pure gold
Gina is the best. I lol 😂 whenever I watch her.
Just to let you know, RESTLESS LEG SYNDROME is very serious and can be very painful.
I have RLS and it honestly mostly affects me at night or if I'm sitting very still, it's like your legs don't want to stop moving from the days work and it can be very uncomfortable but its manageable and I wouldn't say its painful(only when I kick the wall kicking in my sleep and bust my toes) and medication isn't necessary just a ointment or managing it, could be a case by case thing is all I mean. I wasn't triggered by the joke, sometimes it's fine to laugh at unfortunate things, she a comedian and it's just a joke.
a medication i was taking GAVE ME RLS, I stopped the medication it went away
It’s a freaking joke. I have ADHD and hear jokes about it alllll the time about it not needing meds.
Honestly I do wonder about the neuodivergent stuff. Are people neurodivergent and neurotypical or are we all just different, but fit slightly better into made up boxes, and organizing the world in one particular manner?
Thats absolutely true.
Adhd has been shown to have a slightly smaller brain overall than average.
The point is there is an expected performance standard that not everyone is capable of
It doesn't help that a lot of the symptoms can easily be attributed to other things. My sister (who definitely does not have ADHD) is CONVINCED she does have it because she struggles to concentrate, forgets what she's saying mid-sentence, and panics when people don't reply to her messages, thinking that she's done something wrong. All of this can be explained by her having a young baby, chronic pain, and the last one is something she's only done since she was in an abusive relationship a few years ago (before she met her husband).
Some people are really clearly neurodivergent (which, years ago, we used to refer to as being a bit "slow" - not very PC, I know...), but the internet has caused a lot of hypochondria and incorrect self-diagnoses. People read a list of symptoms and don't realise that there is far more to being a doctor than reading websites... As a result, when people say they have ADHD, I ask who diagnosed it. At least 50% stumble before admitting that they "identify" as having it but haven't received a formal diagnosis... That should not be a thing!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I'm taking antidepressants and the positive side effects are nightmares.
You have to weigh if starring in your own personal horror movie each night is worth functioning during the day 😂
This was funny
This was edutainment and most people got missed feelings lol
Hilarious!
Love ya Gina
Oxymoxylexilocsyloxigen😁😄
except if you do have restless legs, for which there is no good remedy or fix. It is a torment. And it has been known for way over 30 years.
Weird. I don't see that many commercials. I also don't watch ad sponsored content. I might be the only person on earth that pays for youtube, but I'm not watching ads if I don't have to.
PS. Please don't come at me, not here to criticize Gina. I'm here cause I'm a big fan of her work. :)
Welp…..she’s not wrong 🤷🏼♀️
It will never change.
The British will always have to tell the Americans how ridiculous and gullible they are.
🤓
Gina lost me with comedy about ADHS as it was something new. My mother was a psychiatrist since the 60s and worked with kids and adults with ADHS are known since 1775. A german doctor, Dr. Melchior Adam Weikard, described it the first time. It’s really disappointing to listen to what she said.
I have it, and I found the ADHD joke funny.
Because back then, it definitely wasn’t clearly defined yet, further proving the point of her joke.
Love her, too, seen her with quite a bit of weight herself MTW
American food is far far tastier than bland british food.
American fast food is garbage that's killing us. This is comedy, though she's not wrong. 😂😂😂
Bc all that added sugar and perservatives. Your tastebuds are the ones screwed up
the comedian say terrifying truths and the idiots laugh... let's face it, there is no hope for humanity
What a shame she can't do fat. She is a funny lady but that is just sad.
No one should "do" fat! Is it acceptable to shame or ridicule anyone for ANY reason? Of course not! But neglecting to celebrate or support being overweight and remarking on it for the undesired state it is, since by it's very definition it's a state that exists in opposition of health, should be the standard!
You lost me and so many when you make fun. Make fun. Make money about other peoples illness. What’s next? I found you through Trevor. But since you crap on others with real problems, you’re gone.
I think she was driving home the point that America is the only country with medicine commercials which end up leading a lot of people to wrongfully self diagnose.
Most foreign people I know find the medicine commercials overdramatic and laughable but so do I.
@@king9141 Im one of those intelligent people that doesn't waste my time caring about people's feelings. I have better things to do. You must be one of "those" people 😂
So true. As an Irish person I remember the first time I saw American TV. It felt like there were more commercials than actual TV content and the vast majority were pharma or weird insurance commercials.
