Anakin Skywalker was the chosen one.
This was evident when the Jedis learned he was born a virgin birth. Conceived by the Force itself, without a father. Combined wit his high midi-chlorian count and natural connection to the force, Quigon believed he was destined for more.
Unfortunately this idea was cheapened in Acolytes where Osha and Mae, are conceived by the Force. It is the Covens first children in years.
The idea that this is a rare but widespread phenomenon, rather then a unique event dilutes the significance of Anakin’s origin. It suggests virgin births are not as unique as originally portrayed, undermining the uniqueness that marked Anakin as the Chosen one.

The emperor survived in the EU (Legends) a long time ago. The same consciousness transference was used in those books. Disney just used an already established maguffin. Be a gen-X SW fan and you’ll see how many times canon got revised. Disney didn’t do anything they want already done before.

Because 3 people out of billions of human (not counting other species in star wars) makes it "rare but widespread phenomenon" 3 out of billions is absolutely unique, then add species like Kel Dors, Nautolans, or whatever the fuck Yoda is makes it extremely unique. I am a true star wars fan for 10 years since i was a child, i got many close memories with it and its so heartbreaking for me to see star wars ruining.

The difference is that wiches actively used the force for their magic tomforge the birth. Anakin was just created by the force (or have fan theories that Plagueis is his father been canonically be confirmed ?)

They haven't ruined it, they actually followed the rule. It is a phenomenon. They literally just explained the lore and set in stone dismissing other theories behind his birth. The Vergence in the Force was an extremely rare event which we know though Palpatine was extremely powerful he couldn't have created Anakin without such an event as if he could it would have been repeated in the final 3 movies by Palpatine.
yet they don’t realise they are the very monsters themselves. The fan base of Star Wars is strictly the majority or men and children even though it is a dark story It is child friendly and was written in a way that was so perfect that you couldn’t possibly hate it. It seems to me the more later in time we get the more easily offended. The generation becomes so much so that they feel that they need absolute power to back them up to get their point across when it is no one’s rights to force someone to listen to something they don’t want to listen to that is what freedom is, and that is how you felt with the skywalker saga up to return of the Jedi. It was a real story with realistic writing, something that people could escape to end. It never had a problem even with the female audience. so why is this a problem now that we need to make the strictly for women win the majority of the fan base is men and children . It seems to me we’ve got double standards and hypocrisy going on here. Anakin is was and will always be the chosen one of Star Wars.

Did we not listen to the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise? He was so powerful he could manipulate midiclorians and create life. It’s spelled out in revenge of the Sith that this is a known dark side power.
Its a fair point but it was VERY ambiguous and we don’t even know to what extent. Could he bring back life or actually create it? Palpatine who basically became the dark side incarnate wasn’t able to come close to replicating that ability so as of right now we will never know
The dark plagueis books are considered a legend now. But yes he could create life. I don't think this takes away from the "Chosen one prophecy" because while the twins in aycolte where born with the force. The mother manipulated it to do so. Anakin's birth was because of the force itself and no one else is involvement.

@@MrAwesome874 force healing is from legends. Tales of the Jedi also have Bariss implied using it. Which is also from the legend comics she was in. Don't get me wrong I dislike the sequel trilogy because it had bad writing. But alot of the things people have issues from is just stuff they are recycling from legends.

No one created Anakin, he’s the INCARNATION of the force. Also the Mortis arc is canon and literal Gods confirmed this fact. The prophecy is thousands of years old, Acolyte timeline is also aware it
The Force created Anakin as a response to Darth Plageius attempting to manipulate life with the force. The Acolyte is basically saying these random witches were able to do something not even Palpatine or his Master were able to succeed in. It’s awful

Go watch the Mortis Arc, go watch how Maul and Ezra combined sith and jedi holocrons and learned about the chosen one prophecy, about the twin suns. NO ONE created Anakin. There's also a legends comic that shows how ancient people worshipped Vader as their "god". No one called these weird children "the chosen one" in Acolyte because they're different.

Anakin being the chosen one was never confirmed by anybody. They even second guessed it on screen. And if you want to get technical about it Luke was the one who brought balance to the force not anakin.. also how does the existence of these 2 cheapen Anakin when they were born hundreds of years before him and it's possible Qui-Gon didn't even know about it. You also need to remember that he wasn't a traditional Jedi
