Fantastic finds Nicole, and Josh. I never go by best before dates on things like cereal, and some canned foods. Growing up we never had best before dates, you just knew when to throw it out. I had to check my parents canned food every 6 months, as I found a can of exploding peaches once. 😂 That jewelry holder is an easy fix, with a very thin piece for fine sanding paper. Right? some are so convinced by the best buy dates, even if it means going without they will throw it away. I just opened a can of beans that was in my pantry lets say a long time! lol not a thing wrong with them. I did not get sick, nor upset stomach. Holy cow they use to dust the canned goods. Now they're thrown out before any dust collects on them. It's kind of sad some people don't understand it's for companies alone to keep production going and to make as much money as possible.
@@lanna7917 That's right Lanna. It's all about the money. Up here in Ontario, Canada they are wanting to get rid of the best before dates on most products. I also check the smell of something that's past their date. My milk says fresh at least a week after the date. The government is going after large grocery chains regarding the high prices on products used on an almost daily basis. A head of lettuce costs $5.00 ,and it's very small. Even if it’s expired it’s okay. I’ve rated expired food numerous times. It has so many preservatives in them it will last a long time. The stuff was not opened it’s okay.

I have a little solar fountain, I love it....but it only works in the sun, I keep thinking about a lighted one.
Most of the dates don't state expired anymore, they use the term best before. I've eaten stuff I had forgotten about in the pantry for 2-3 years with no ill effects. As long as canned or boxed items haven't been recalled or contaminated by bugs, it's fine.

Some food banks will take food up to a month or so past the "best by"/ "use by" date especially if they are a shelf stable item

Hi Nicole & Josh! For your two-tier tray, you can buy threaded pipe at Home Depot, and have it cut to the correct length. Then slide it in through your dowel pieces and use a washer and nut to hold it together! Love your assorted collection of great returns…!

Ive been to Pepperidge farms stores that sell all over sell by date food! Cereal, cookies,crackers as long as their not opened last a long time! Great job!❤❤❤
For the 2 tier tray, you could probably use pieces of dowel rods to put it together with the glue. Just a suggestion. It might make it a little more secure with using both. Love your videos!
Great finds again, I think in the bag is maybe a picnic blanket which is why it's in the bag for easy carrying. X
A wooden dowel rod can be glued and put through the level pieces to hold everything together.
Ace Hardware has bins where you can buy nuts, bolts, screws etc. for exactly what you need for the rolling plant stands. That way you don't have 500 nuts and bolts from the big box stores.

Really Nice cereal score. I really liked the thing you said was for jewelry. But I would hang a little plaque with maybe the word Home, Love or Welcome written on it in the wire section. Use the cork board section for notes and the hooks at the bottom to hang keys on. Give your fur babies hugs and kisses for me 🥰. May God Bless and keep your Family Safe 💞

You never abandon plants, they usually will come back with tlc. Nice to have you both on again. I don't go by dates unless is milk etc and its weeks past.

You can also get a threaded/solid rod from Home Depot or Lowes. Heck, you could probably fix it with a lamp kit.
I wouldn't use hot glue it you want to actually use it for food.

You make dumpster diving look fun. What is the best time of the day to go? You always get some great things
Cereal and bars and all processed food stays good a long time. You can also freeze any of those thing 1-2 yrs. Chips, crackers, cookies candy. Any of it can be frozen with no quality loss.

Be careful with the Belvitas. They were recently recalled. Use a dowel down the center of those trays and E6000 to secure. I'd like to find the Cheerios in various flavors.

For that tiered tray go to a craft store and buy a wooden ball or something and glue to the top, then paint it.

That's Amazon's item sticker. Not a return sticker. I'm an amazonian. When we pick items per order. The scanner states that label so we get the correct item, size and color. So the customer gets the exact item they ordered.

A lot of people don’t realise when it says best use by means that it is time for new items. They are perfectly fine to eat. If it just used by that is what you don’t eat after the date.

You can run a wooden dowl through the tray. They sell them at Lowes in many sizes. Love your videos!
For that tier tray, that’s missing the metal pole that goes down through the middle you could just go and buy an inexpensive dowel rod to put down through there and then gorilla glue it.
