Love No. 19, but haven't tried the flanker Poudre yet. Fun fact - Chanel No. 19 is named for Coco Chanel's birthday, August 19. It's perfect timing that you posted your review on the day that gave the fragrance its name.
I wish I could take credit for that but it's totally a coincidence. I did know that about the birthday but it was a coincidence that I dropped the video today. I guess it was meant to be.
I love your review of this timeless classic. Thank you!! I've tried Chanel 19 Poudre as well and while I did like it, comparing it to the original Chanel 19 I preferred the original as well. :) Thanks again for your review!!
Thanks Patricia, I have been using No 19 edt and edp for many years, and was wandering if I should get the Poudre version, I do like powdery notes so I will give it a try.
Ann-Marie Huneck I would say it’s worth a try even though it doesn’t last as long. I forgot to mention I even tried layering both. It was a.nIce combo but of course you could smell the original more 💚.
Thanks so much for this review! I love n19, but I love love powder scents so I wondered if I should try Poudre. But after your reveiw, I think I'll stick to n19 layered with Cristalle Eau Verte which has a beautiful powdery dry down.
I sprayed the original on my left wrist and the poudre on my right wrist and i walked around thinking about them, sniffing each throughout the day and I prefer the original even thought the description of poudre sounds more my thing. I want the original but it's so expensive...................
@@pjacksone they are all beautiful, strong & last better than many of my designer scents. The original Charlie & charlie Blue were released in the 70's & are my favorites from the range
Thanks for being honest Chanel 19 all the way❤ love the pottery dry down❤
It’s a very unique scent.
“Poodréh”
thanks- I dont think I need Poudre. I have the original 19.

Thanks for the video! I didn't know what the poudre was all about :)
You are welcome!

I was really really fooled. I just knew I was gonna love Poudre more. I guess there is something to be said for an original.
Thanks for a great review. I just purchased the No 19 and love it. Now I have to try the other version. The dry down is everything in the original.
It REALLY is. You are so correct!

Please update us on your Nº19 life ❤

It’s definitely a “save up” type of fragrance.
Would either be considered mature?
Both aren’t available for me to smell in person and not sure if they would suit me as a 20 year old.
I think Poudree would be your best bet because it’s more soft and powdery.
Thanks ❤️
N19 EDP is next up on my wishlist, currently on a 70's perfume kick.
What type of 70s kick?
@@pjacksone Charlie range, molinard musc, Emeraude, Windsong, Jontue. Not all made in 70's but popular in the 70's
@@ruthannemackinnon588 I remember Charlie and the commercials.
