Make sure to watch Part 2: ua-cam.com/video/M5xE-YiXjW0/v-deo.html What do you guys think about Korbin’s story? Reaching $35K/month in 5 years-does that sound like something you can do? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
After viewing the pricing on their website, their margins have got to be minuscule. If they are happy then good for them, but I worry about effective scalability.
*This is neat. I’ve started buying bits and pieces to do my own photo shoots at home so all this equipment is really good. The filming was gorgeous. What microphones are you guys using?😍*
these numbers are super high. $4k in a day with real estate photography? What state are y'all located in. I can barely get agents to pay $140 for photos and I am one of the best photographers in the area.
@@UpFlip I do residential. Normally 1500-5000sqft houses. I include drone but the competition here included it for free and they only charge $120 so it really brings down the value of shoots.
I am also very familiar with this industry...I think we need to calculate the fact that they hire like 4-5 people to do a dozens of contracts everyday (so 400$ per property x 12 contracts a day = 4000 as an estimate) throughout a big sector, not just their own town.
Do you know any professional outsourcing company? I'm working with edithere, it looks like they only specialize in regular photo editing. I am in dire need of an outsourcing company with a full range of services related to real estate.
$35k/month may seem like a stretch to some of y’all but they did say that they have a team of photographers they hire & they shoot weddings as well. I’m curious how much they made when it was just the 2 of them before they started expanding the business? I’m in the process of expanding my current RE Media company to the next level so it’s pretty admirable seeing them in that position already & killing it 👍🏼
Wonderful LizzyKing. Congrats on getting started. 😀👍Have you started setting up your photography business as a separate entity? (business documentation etc) Also, make sure to advertise your work and set up a separate social media platform. You never know who could be looking. Please keep us up to date with your businesses progress!?
Don't Believe this Crap . 35k a month? Famous Hollywood photographers yes 🤔 beginners it will never happen . It takes a years of Practice i mean Years . one more thing. If you screw up tge Wedding pictures you will end up in Court 100% . well they won't tell you that ha . good luck 🙏 .

We are shooting on average 40-50 homes per week and have huge profit margins at 50-70%. We are scaling right now and have been doing a great job! 😁
What about some with a videography business?
Starting with 2 person team that does photography and video has a huge advantage than those with just 1 which is vast majority of photographers.
Honestly, I'd be content earning $4.5 - $7k per month. That'll give me a solid income and still be able to spend more time with my family.
So much to learn, my head literally hurts ….. hopefully my co workers will let me shoot their listings ;) we both win !
This is awesome can’t wait for part 2
Yay, happy to hear that!
Great series!! Curious if the 70% profit margins are before or after drawing your own salaries?
Yeah I think they messed that up and counted their own labor as free, which it's not.
I'm sure it's the gross income for the business. That's a number that is usually quoted by anyone.
This is amazing! Such great advice! Can't wait to implement it! :)
Happy to hear that!

@@TheInnerGenius I did thank you. Got a Boya mic😉

Are you doing commercial or residential shoots Zannd? Are you incorporating things like drone technology into your services?

@@zanndbeatz3051 I agree most include drone for free. It's so tough because like you said agents don't want to pay. I don't know of I believe them.
This is really sad! Especially when people under charge
