Best baseball movie is The Turnaround, unless you don’t count that as a movie, just a documentary. It is the best solely because it is about Trea Turner, and it is ridiculously nostalgic for me, because Trea’s Turnaround was the whole reason I got into baseball in the first place.

I watched this video today with my husband and boys (6 and 9). Your top 5 are good, but Bull Durham should have made it instead of 42. But, how dare you say Rookie of the Year is not very good!! It’s a movie for kids to watch and see themselves in along with Angles in the outfield. I grew up in the 90’s, but even my kids agree with Rookie being awesome. Another one you failed to mention is Bad News Bears (the one from ‘76) .
