Another great day of hiking in the northern New England forests and mountains. I loved the woods and hiking amongst the trees up there, and you're spot on correct about hiking, I go into the mtns and woods to be by myself most of the time. It's mind clearing , cleansing and refreshes the soul.
And I'm in awe that you know, and identify while showing all the natural plants, shrooms and berries. I know some of them by name but can identify visually all of what you show I have seen in VT. N.H. and ME. in the past living up there. Thank you for not just walking and videoing but showing all you see.
And the green tunnel is a beautiful classroom for those who are in tune and appreciate it no matter where the hike or walk is taking you.
And your camping spot, the pond, the sunset was absolutely beautiful ❤ loved that. Except for the Leech. 😳And you did look very tired.
Thanks for sharing it all Flower/Naturalist Teacher 👣🌄👣✌️🍀
And love seeing those Vermont DarnTough socks on your feet 👣 they are the best socks money can buy 👍👍

I'm so glad that you enjoy the things I show in my videos and the way I vlog. And yes, all of nature is miraculous if a person stops to pay attention. I don't always know the names all of the things I see, but I love to look them up and learn.
      They are fantastic socks!

I have really enjoyed following your hike on the AT, my legs don't allow me to to do such things anymore, yet I can enjoy the scenery on the trail because of you. Thank you, you are truly an angel.😇

I always remind myself that when people say "there are no views" from such and such a place, they're wrong. There's ALWAYS a view....it just might be of trees or something other than wide open space. Your "view" is whatever your eyes behold.

You are so right, there is NOTHING boring about the Appalachian Trail! It's my favorite and I live in Virginia (in the Blue Ridge Mountains) and walk it regularly. Thank you for posting!

I can 💯 relate to you Flower. I started hiking the local AT sections to me as I live close to a number of trailheads. Now I’m 5 states done and in total love with her. Now it’s just harder as travel time is so long. I will do it though. You’ve inspired me for the years I’ve been following you. I wish we had bumped into each other. Can’t wait to see your conclusion. I’m sure it will be so happy and emotional. Happy trails.🤘🏻🥾⛰️

Five states complete! Woohoo!! Congrats :) I know you'll get it done....it doesn't matter how long it takes; it's all about the journey and the time spent in nature. Good luck to you!

Roots, rocks, mud and steep slopes. Another lovely day in the neighborhood. I want to believe the woodland elves were working with the fairies to build the rock steps. The white rock looks like quartz.
Bravo to your dedication. It seems like you are feeling some sorrow as you are approaching the finish. Considering of all you endured and your accomplished high achievements that is understandable. Accolades to your 5 year plan and your arduous journey. Cheers to you for taking the first step and having the stamina to succeed. Nice campsite…again. Is there a secret list? Be well. Wishing you peace, safe passage and good fortune ahead. Happy Trails!

Haha, if there are woodland elves, the Maine woods is where they'd live!
I don't think there's a secret list...I have googled it and found a few, I have watched other people's videos and found some more, and I have just hoped and prayed and stumbled across some.

@@loamseeker5230 Thanks. Good to know. You certainly found some beautiful spots. Bravo! For me, I would not want to hover around shelters. Did enough close quarters sleeping in the service. No more. I will enjoy the solitude. Be well.

Not sure I have experienced humidity so high it turns the sun red, but that’s hard to do inside with the air conditioning cranked.
