This song reminds me of "The Tragedy of Chateau Cepage"... Gakupo singing about capturing a young girl in a fancy dress, and then keeping her in a cage as his own possession...
The final is not a subjective thing (like a rape or a kiss), but is LITERALLY about putting fire in the mansion! There's 6 songs of the Girl Series where a boy (Len) fall in love with a girl (Rin) at every song, but it's not always that they have a happy end In one of the songs, called Detective Girl, is mentioned "a rich man and a fire case", and in the Wiki of the song is written "In the end he commits suicide, along with murdering Rin by setting her and his mansion on fire". I think he did it for their sorrows (for HIS sorrow) and fear of be left alone again, which he was But the "However... I am left alone again" can mean that he was left still alive... or that he died alone (even if he was with the girl), with no one loving him back (the girl could had loved him and he didn't know)
@@HowAboutAHug maybe the purgatory thing is because he's been left alone again and again - but the song is from the man's perspective, so we'll never know if the girl really left him (at all means)
@@morelikecarter the Girl Series is a serie of six songs about six different stories of a boy (Len) encountering a girl (Rin). They always (most of, just him) fell in love with each other, but sometimes the ending isn't happy. The first song is called The Rise and Fall of the Psychic Girl (sung by Len), the second one is The Longing for and the Reality of the Science Girl (Len), the third is (I'm not sure) Window-side Relation With the Literature Girl (Len), fourth is (again, I'm not sure) Purgatory and the Canary Girl (Len and Rin). After this we have Making It Bizarre and Weird, The Detective Girl (Len) and The Noir Girl, or Vice Amply Rewarded (just Len? I don't remember). Not all of them have eng translations, as far as I know

I might not be Lucifer nor do I use Vocaloid (but Utau) still there are some things I can tell you about tuning. - Pinpoint what notes are the most important to give stress for giving the song some emotion and edit these the most extremely - Don't over do it and start with tuning only few notes - But also try a lot with everything you can find, experiment with pitch bends etc until you find something you really like and make it your style: Trial and error is the only way - Don't use the same pitch bends two times in a row or it will rob the other of the (special) feeling it gives off - Whenever there is a space between blocks of notes make sure the last note fades somewhere: Either a breath, vocal fry, slightly raising the last part of the note, etc - Listen to the voice in it's raw state and know how it works. Don't try and change the sound but base the tuning off the voices personality and quirks. If it doesn't fit the song just choose something else - If you have V4 try XSY, it can be used as falsetto voice and a lot of songs need falsetto to really add the emotion to it, it also can add emotion and aggression if you use a strong voice on a softer one - Try to use growl to add emotion, don't use too much of it at once but you can use it at multiple times during the song BUT ONLY IF IT FITS THE SONG (I made experiences with that) - You can use the "gender" option to make the differences between notes more or less obvious, add force (deeper) or softness (higher voice) if placed at the right moment - Try out the other options you find (idk how they work, the only comparable thing in Utau that I can use with my resampler settings is gender) but subtly and do not overwhelm yourself by trying to cross use everything without understanding it - Listen to human covers you like of the song you want to cover and try to understand what is done and how you can reproduce it Good luck dude

I think it's that he went to hell or purgatory and she went to heaven, and therefore he was still alone, atoning his sins.
what’s the “girl series”/where can i find it?

HOLY FCK I LOVE THIS... this is one of my favorite vocaloid songs and this cover really does it justice
i love this song... with gakupo's voice *_*
I've personally always interpreted the line 'however, I am still left alone' as, after they both died in the fire, the man woke up alone, in hell

This is awesome. I just started Vocaloid covers, can you recommend any tuning tips?

- Don't use the same pitch bends two times in a row or it will rob the other of the (special) feeling it gives off
