I do everything (almost) barefooted. While I do love winter, I hate having to wear shoes/boots when outdoors. I get a lot of stupid comments here in Chicago.
I believe the what the Bible says about everything and to know about the health benefits of being barefoot is just evidence that God designed the human feet to be barefoot not to be covered and caged in shoes. To me the human feet does look beautiful just like the rest of the human body.

My calouses build up enough that I can walk on most everything, yet surprisingly sensitive to the occasional bit of glass or sharp object that I can react before it penetrates the calous. The one thing that is brutal are when the acorns fall off the oak trees. They are hard AF and are just large enough to cause pain. The foot is amazing in that the muscles will loosen up and absorb stonesa and gravel etc. pretth well.
