I don't see how anyone can watch this and conclude anything other than this is the leading espresso machine on the market today. I love you guys!!
Awesome transparency John. Really nice to see the quality control that goes into Decent. Keep it up. Thanks from Canada
The transparency of the manufacturing and testing going on is simply unbeatable
How impressive. This is the dream machine for the espresso nerd. Therefore I know what I'm buying, once my La Spaziale gives out!
That's quite the set up. Much bigger than I'd imagined it would be.
I love this video. As someone who has worked for plenty of startups over the years, it feels so relatable seeing the Decent family at work! Stuff like this is essential for some customers to make their minds up when sinking ~£3k on an espresso machine - something not hand-built in Italy really has to retain this specialist build quality, and videos like this are a testament to the QC that goes on at Decent
Looks like you're packed pretty tight. I seem to remember a more assembly line look to the original setup in the workshop but everything looks optimized very well.
Love to see all the testing and burn in on your machines.
I'm sure you're tremendously proud of the success of Decent Espresso. You've changed what it means to buy an Espresso Machine. Now there's Decent Espresso and then there's all others, those out of date Italian inspired metal behemoths that just can't be modernized.
Nice to see what's really going on and certainly makes me think what a great value for these machines compared to others on the market that cost so much more. There's just no way any other manufacturers do this, can't wait to buy one when after I sell my current machine! Thanks
I don't have a Decent espresso machine yet but I'm very impressed so far with it, keep up your good work!
Amazing, thank you!
Merry Christmas!!🎄
Really cool to see how big things have become!
Maybe one suggestion: get a lens / camera with a wider field of view and stabilization for this type of video. As is it’s pretty hard to see some things because it’s so shaky and the FoV is so narrow.
We love to see it!
Curious, the reliability and longevity of decent is undisputed but is it an "appliance" (really good quality one) or is it an actual "machine"?
Because from my understanding of the differences between the two, it seems like an exceptionally well made appliance?
12:20 Bengle!
Fascinating and I love the transparency but ya'll, who is getting a $4k espresso machine for Christmas? 😅
Nice tour, thank you!
How many hours does it take to assemble a decent?
About 4h and then another hour for testing, calibration and burnin.
Decent video
Would love to see a video where John and Bugs gives an introductory lesson to functional Cantonese for "gwei-lo" in HongKong 😉
haha! the most common two words in HK are "out of stock (or not available)" and "no problem, no problem" and of course we know how to assert directions to a cab driver who has never heard of "wanchai" (chig hoia!)
Simple amazing☕️👍🏽
What are you paying for rent in HK?
Camera person had way too much espresso …
Is the camera operator drunk? I’m so disoriented watching this video
Great content showing factory in & outs, but gosh terrible video...i almost puke watching it too shaky..& could not finish watching
Why is everyone wearing a mask at work in 2023?
This was filmed 11 months ago, when COVID was hitting HK pretty hard.
Nice tour. Hope you guys use a rotary pomp in new releases.
I bought my 1.44 just a hair over a year ago, and I've use it daily for espresso/milk drinks in the morning, and iced tea w/ the tea portafilter throughout the day. Just checked the espresso count, 1070 espressos and it has been absolutely flawless! the only maintenance performed is weekly cleaning.
