@@devingademan Amazed you can hear the melancholy too. My goal at the start was to make joyful, child-like songs about fond memories. But, when finished with the project, I thought, “Oops! This sounds bittersweet instead of joyful.” It makes sense in hindsight. “You can’t return” - the shadow every sunny memory casts.
