Thank you sir. This is amazing. I will certainly use it every day I am presently enrolled in Long Island CW Club in a B2 class and this program certainly will help me I know it was a lot of hard work Jim. K4YNA. Thanks
I seem to be having great problems getting the Echo to understand certain responses (not just s and f disambiguation, but things like u can be a problem; maybe it's having trouble disambiguating u and 2)? It's happening very frequently and when it does happen, the Echo can get stuck in a 'say that again' loop, so that really needs to be set to time-out after 2 failed understanding attempts (so then it just tells you the answer and moves on to sending you the next character). I've ended up having to say a random character (typically z) just to shut it up. Sometimes even that doesn't work and it eventually toggles into 'sending sentences' mode and I end up getting rather irritated and simply closing it. Limiting it to a couple of 'say that again' instances would - IMHO - vastly, vastly improve the user experience. I hope that the above feedback is of some use to you, Briain
Hi Joe. I've just discovered this (I'm using it on an Echo), I think that it is a fabulous idea and I [very nearly] almost absolutely love it! I'd like to suggest one minor change, though (maybe even as a user settable as an option, if that's feasible). Using your video example, might it be a cool idea to shorten the response 'you said it was U, it was U' to something a little more abrupt? Personally, I'd love the response to be something more along the lines of either 'correct' or 'no, it was A', as to me, the unnecessary verbal redundancy soon tends toward being a tad on the tedious side and I'd much prefer to instead more rapidly progress onto being completely confused by the next symbol (one rather appreciates response brevity when dealing with all these fancy new AI type thingies; okay, yes, I'm getting far too old and grumpy). ;-) All the best and thank you very much indeed for building this skill; it's a very cool idea and all your hard graft put into creating it is very much appreciated! :-)
Actually, I think it could be very useful to have an additional mode whereby it sends the letter (as it does now) then it gives you a few seconds to guess the answer (in your head) then it simply tells you what the letter was. Sorry for all the feedback; I'm just trying to help. :-)
You need to install and configure the Amazon Shopping app. Then you can Alexa on your iOS device. www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-use-alexas-voice-support-on-your-iphone-right-now/
When learning words , will she repeat the word after 3 try’s ? Same for sentences es calls? Thank you. Just learning so I’m looking for any good advice to put the characters together.
Hi Jay. The best advice I can give you is once you know your characters and numbers get on the air and practice them. You will progress much faster this way. Also, consider signing up for a CW Academy class. There are many free Morse training tools and resources available. Check CWOps website for details. Have fun! Joe
19th Century tech meets 21st Century tech. I’m going to use this. Good job. Thanks.

Are you sure there is a stand alone app Alexa for iOS? I only found the companion app for the physical devices...
