Please God send us more priests of this caliber. I'm so tired of homilies that just rehash the days readings in the most mundane way possible. Holy mother Queen of the clergy pray for us.
Really enjoying this channel. The current crisis has prompted me more than ever to seek virtue. The time to be sinful and lukewarm as a Catholic is running out. Every time I go through temptation I think-what would I do if Jesus came back right now? And I also acknowledge we may go through a period soon where churches are hard to find thus making confession difficult... better to stay in a state of grace if confession is rare. Stay strong everyone and continue to pray and grow in virtue.
Today. Six plus months of lockdown. This channel keeps me sane.

I'm writing this in 2021, and it really does feel like we're rapidly approaching the end. Every last one of the "immoral behaviors" cited in the Bible has been embraced by our culture, and hostility against the faithful seems to be on the rise.
I'm not going to say it's the end, no one knows the hour, but the signs seem to be growing in strength.

I learned something, we have to be in a state of grace all the time. Mary Queen of Peace, pray for us.
very impirtant lesson. if we are not in a state of grace and die we go to hell. We are in a state of mortal sin and no matter how much we pray, do penance..we seperated ourselves from God and cannot gain any merit.. Run to confession.. there is no guarantee you will get there before death. And prophesy says we will be without churches, priests and all the sacrements soon.
So work on staying in a state of grace asap. we will not even have the blessed sacrement to stregthen us.

I went to Catholic Seminary for 3 years (89-91); got my theology degree, and this is new to me!!! The Trinity isn't new; but this kind of clear teaching is. I wasn't ordained but if I had been exposed to teachers of this caliber I wonder where I would be today.

39knights I believe if the Catholic Church had stuck to beauty and truth instead of trying to appeal to people of this world, we'd have no problem with vocations and our churches would be packed. Watering down the faith has made Catholicism irrelevant since Protestant churches are already there, conforming "truth" to fit the times and what people want to believe.

Powerful, powerful homily! It should shake each person to the core of their being. God is merciful, but also just. Those who wilfully reject Him will have to suffer the consequences of being eternally separated from Him. This is the tragedy of our times, and the cross that we His followers also bear with Jesus Our Lord, the tragedy of watching especially our own family members, wilfully reject Him Who Himself said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one come to the Father except through me."
It's fact that in very few Churches in the West the truth is preach. Nobody preach like you Father anymore.
But I will argue that it is not because faithful do not want to hear the truth. If that will be case, our Churches would be filled with those who are happy to hear lies and heresy. Yet, despite our Churches preaching anything but truth, engaging in all kinds of disobedience that supposed to please the crowd, 80% Catholics left and stopped support such Churches. Either clergy completely misread faithful assuming that we do not want to hear the truth or many of them are immoral and disobedient themselves and don't want to shed the light on this disobedience by preaching the truth.
At the same time traditional Churches are vibrant. Preachers like you are listen and sought-after.

I am seeing exactly this. Those days, my heart is tearing apart for the love of one. I so don't want to follow the path of the easiness of this world. I am seeing constantly errors.
There is ONE path to do it right. I will talk righteously, truthfully with the help of the Holy Ghost. Even if it is to live my whole life alone. even if it is to look stupid in front of many, even if it was to hurt my heart or the dearest one. I pray for God to do it right or no other ways at all.
There is ONE way and I don't want to follow the falsehood of this world.
I am away from perfect. But there is a weapon that we should all use. I have been a little while away from it but I have to keep on it. It is the chapelet, and to do the rosary is still the goal.
It is tough but it is "Our holy cross" to carry on.

I have been there also. I never left the church in preference to sedevacant cults because the church is still the church and Jesus promised us He would be with us until the consumation of the world. Jesus is in the process of cleansing the church of all its heretics (this is a painful process that will take some time). This is so heart breaking to those of us that know our faith very well.
listen to Our Lady of fatima:
1) wear your brown scapular and be enrolled the the brown scapular society.
2)Attend sunday mass
3)do your 9 first fridays and 5 first Saturdays
4) pray a rosary each day
5) go to frequent confession ( i go to a rather lax priest but I have been offering my confessions for God to fix his mind - over the past two years he has been slowly speaking more truth so i know it is painful and we must have patience in our praying and sacrifice.)
6)Pray for our clergy. pray for them as if your very soul depends on it, because it does.
7) give every moment of your life to Jesus -- ask Him to make your heart die so that His will live in you ( I am devoted to the Sacred Heart and do frequent novenas).
8) be strong , trust God because He already knows about this time, and he chose you to live in this time because He trusts you.

Jesus promised to protect His church. For your position to be correct Jesus would have to have reneged on that promise.

A heretic is a proponent of such claims or beliefs. Heresy is distinct from both apostasy, which is the explicit renunciation of one's religion, principles or cause, and blasphemy, which is an impious utterance or action concerning God or sacred things.
Sorry I am late to this discussion. Heretic in simplest terms is pick and choose e.g. I believe in Jesus Christ but I don't believe that the Holy spirit comes from both God and Jesus (eastern orthodoxy) or I believe in Jesus but I don't consider Mary to be mother of God (protestants).
Apostasy is total repudiation of the catholic/christian faith e.g praying together with Buddhists, muslims, kissing quran (e.g jpii, Benedict xvi) going to witch doctors, doing black magic, blaspheming the name of God, His Holy Temple etc

so am I in mortal sin because I do not like the pope or want to follow some of the things he says to do ? I think some of the things he says and some of the Bishops say , goes against the church's teachings . such as hell , they say hell is empty . am I wrong for not believing them on that or other things that the church use to teach ?
Hope by now you have found your answers. Just stay true to the faithful teachings of the Church by reading and searching the Catechism.

As a true catholic I implore anyone who's soul is unrest to go and read the catholic dogma since the 1 council of Nicea to the last one. We were born in the middle of the apostasy, that's why we do not see. Truth is Peter he has the key. Pray to Mary she will guide you. This is the trial of the faithful.
