This remaster and modlist is designed to enhance the vanilla Skyrim experience while maintaining the look, feel, and aesthetic of the original game. The only real departure from vanilla is the addition of the Great Whiterun Forest, which transforms the tundra outside Whiterun into a dense and expansive forest. The ENB can be changed to suit a darker, colder, or more fantasy-like experience, but I feel that Silent Horizons largely maintains the feel of vanilla Skyrim.

I love the melancholy feel to this - Skyrim always feels like going home
There’s not a game out there, that will ever hit like Skyrim did. Game was so far ahead of games. And it was so unique, calming with a massive amount of lure. They also use certain frequencies in their music, that make the game that much more addicting..I have thousands of hours in this game since it came out. Crazy after 10yrs, they couldn’t make something like this but better. When the next elders scrolls like Skyrim comes out, I doubt we will have the opportunity for to play it. This game was a more than a joy to play, was my first game I could really just immerse in and completely forget about life and for hours.. wild game.

Man, Skyrim will forever be my comfort game, I’m so glad I got to play it all those years ago, and I’m glad I still play it to this day.

@@gamelibrary87I get where you’re coming from, but there’s just something about it that always brings me back. I could not play Skyrim for 6 months and then one day just hop right back in as if I never stopped playing to begin with. Especially with mods, it makes parts of the story like the civil war and the parthunax dilemma that much better. I can’t put my finger on any specific thing about it but Skyrim is my favorite video game. It probably always will be

I'm 69 years old and play it often.i had a stroke 2016 and learned from young relatives.i got my sight back

I was thinking about this just yesterday, skyrim feels like home, or like going home for some people. I understand that there are better games out there, better combat, better storytelling, etc. The witcher is a great example of this, but skyrim just feels different, it is and always will be "home" for me

literally close my eyes and it feels like im walking through a town. spent so many hours in skyrim, this truly puts me to sleep.

I used to consistently fall asleep in my pause menu in Skyrim. I would catch myself nodding off as I was playing, sometimes during the day, and it would put me in such a state of peace I would just give in. I'd always sleep so soundly with the music in the background...man this brings back some memories.
Seems as though no matter how much time passes, Skyrim will always hold a special place for all of us in one way or another ❤️ rest easy weary adventurers
Im playing since I was six. Sounds crazy, but true. Now I’m almost seventeen, I have a lot of problems, I have difficult life, but all The Elder Scrolls feel like coming back home. I feel cozy right now, Skyrim has become my favourite game, and I’ve left the parts of my heart and soul there. Thank you.

I turn this on when I need to get stuff done always keeps me happy. When I was a kid I’d go to the taverns and just sit and “ eat sweet rolls” while I’d ask the lute player to play a song
I have no clue why but I almost cried watching this, maybe I'm nostalgic, maybe the last time I played this was a better time, or maybe this is just the way it's supposed to make you feel, either way I regret not having a console or PC to play this on.

I get so happy when i read comments in these videos, and they all relate towards the feelings i have to this game. Skyrim raised me and forged me and my life. I wouldnt be the same without this masterpiece of a game. The amount of detail that was laid into it is just mind boggling, to where no other game could compare. Skyrim is its own… i do wish i was able to get into oblivion like i did skyrim. But to this day nothing will ever move me like living on Tamriel did. The fantasy aspect of the game is just so fascinating. The huge stories and lore thats absolutely loaded into the game… this game will always be embedded into my mind.
I thought fallout 3 hooked me hard but then this came out and absolutely blew me away. Only game ive ever started over and beat 3 times. It will never get old

i got bullied a lot in grade school, and back in fourth grade my dad bought skyrim for me. it was such a refuge to feel so important for once. i never felt that way about another game ever again and i wish i could go back to the very first time i played. i’ll be 17 in a month
I don’t know what it is about Skyrim but it will always be my safe place and home. It is so beautiful and soul touching. This game I have never finished touches my soul in so many ways and I love this game. I have been playing since I was a kid and this will always remain my favorite game of all time even tho I may

I’m playing Skyrim now and I can’t believe I once started the game and put it down a couple years back. Now I’m playing the game and loving it. There is so much you can do and also become.
Had skyrim since it launched back in 11’ this game just feels special.
I remember being in a trance playing this game around that time as a kid.
My brother got it around Christmas time 2011 or the year after, and I would sit and watch him play for hours. Now it’s one of my most played games and top games in general.

To echo what has already been said - the point of this video was to be outdoors. You may have also noticed the sound of wind, birds, and the rustling of the trees that are in the video. If you want rain as it would sound indoors, I would recommend the video I released just prior to this one - I try to give people listening options since everyone has their own preferences.

I really appreciate channels like yours, thank you! I can get my daily dose of Skyrim without playing it. I never finished Skyrim and i keep postponing it every year, i thought i will play it this autumn and winter but it's not the right time, so again i have to postpone it until after the summer. I can't wait to play it! I've been postponing it for about 2 years now, this will be 3rd year.

@@patatedouceyaim1407 enderal is a full conversion mod for skyrim , in short its a complete game separate from the skyrim lore , yet utilizes all the assets and even loads of new assets with the help of mods , its the only way to experience a true new version of skyrim but not skyrim :P its awesome , I've got 350+ hours in it and haven't even got 100% cheevos on it yet! well worth it , its free :) if you think you'd be interested make sure to follow a well liked youtube tutorial on how to get it set up , all you will need is skyrim and the dlcs. have a good day!
