I feel like a lot of people dont realize how groundbreaking they actually were. They were basically the first rock band who recorded as if they were doing hip hop. Sure, there are other numetal bands like slipknot and korn and stuff, but they were the first ones to record little bit by bit, and it made a totally fresh sound. I distinctly remember hearing them for the first time. They were instantly my favorite band
They weren't a rock band. They were a hip hop group that incorporated rock instruments into their hip hop. It was Warner Records who tried to rebrand them as a rock band

@@OfficialLifeWithRecklezz there's a lot of post early 90's to the present day bands that are good at being cliche and generic still ok but nothing special but then there's linkin park who changed the medium and deserve to be put up there with the beatles queen rolling stones and metallica as true game changes...like their a top 3 band easily maybe top 2....they did something genius and new and combined genres they didn't just rest on being like other bands they went abstract and unique original...love that about them...no band since has done that to this extent where they have 25 hit singles plus a few ok other songs that charted

Not sure if y’all knew this but Chester was one of Rhiannas favorite singers. She paid tribute to him on her Instagram when he passed and one of her concerts.

This is a very underrated song. This is also prob my favorite off of this album. When this album came out it was a constant in my 5 disc cd player
Yall gotta check out waiting for the end, and linkin park live in texas. The whole show is on youtube. They were massive. I miss hearing them on the radio all the time. They even got so big at one time, i didnt like them. Like you know how you love a band, then they become the band everyones going on and on about and you just dont like em that much? For me, that happened with them around the time the second transformers came out. They were doing a song for all of those movies whenever a new one would come back, and up until then, they were my favorite band without question. I still love them tho. Just had a little dip for a little bit.
Mike Shinoda who did the rap sections for linkin park has distributed music on his own since Chesters death.Can't hear you now is really good it's a song about Chesters Perspective after he died.

Top 5. For me they are my all time favorite band. First band I really got into during high school back when their first album hybrid theory came out.
This was the first LP song I heard back then. To me to this day, it's still a perfect mix of what LP style was about, there's rock, rap and electronic and they all blend so effortlessly. Check out Reanimation, it's like this 10x, heavier emphasis on hip hop too.
So Mike is like a year-ish older than me, meaning I basically grew up with these guys immediately from hitting adulthood, and damn this song still bumps. They are basically my comfort music after all this time. And it's been really cool to hear them grow up too, you know?

When I was in high school I only listened to linkin park here and there and if it was on the radio. CDs were expensive and we didn’t have UA-cam so I never heard their whole cd. I recently revisited their music and I can jam it all day than all these new trash music. Top 5!

Chester in my opinion one of the greatest male vocalists ever. Linkin Park helped me get through 10 years of serious depression in the 00's. For this I will always be grateful.R.I.P. Chester. Gone but never forgotten.
Mime Shinoda the rapper for the band is a super talented artist. Not only in rapping but singing. Would heavily suggest to check out his solo work

Reanimation was a dope album more on hip hop side. Scratching beats ect. But had Korn Aaron Lewis. Black though it was a fire album check it out

Most of Linkin Park music is about the music industry and then finding out how you need to be a certain way to make it as far as. You know you hear about it all the time they sound like live songs or break up songs. It’s was his way of trying to let people know with out the higher ups knowing so to speak .
