since day 1 the key feature of tripleS is Growth, most people are used to having ready made group that they dislike groups that currently growing in every aspect, if you tried to compare tripleS with other group, remember that Yoon Seoyeon / S1 being an idol with no training background at all, like she was signed as Idol first, skipping the trainee period and started blank slate on know how to do things... and she evolved in two years... i am not defending tripleS as they have gained a substantial amount of fans and exposures to this day that may or may not blindly defending them in whatsoever ways possible... but if you are new to tripleS then kept this word in your mind " Growth " as it represent tripleS at its core... and i as the one who enjoys survival shows because i can watch and determined the growth of the trainees that i voted for, this group is just what i want to see in an artist... it brings more in-depth connections as i see them perform... but regarding to this performance, just as my previous comment on another channels, i wish the company soon released the playback version so the girls own voice can be heard and not the mixed voice between mic and vocal backtrack
You are right. Or let's do something like: give them a stage and let them sing with no music at all. Many idols, as i know, did a very well stage with no music, no backing tracks (although it was accidentally).

right😭 why would they use such a small main light for a 12 member performance, you can only clearly see about 4 members even when they’re close together. and imagine how dangerous it could’ve been for the girls to be walking around in such a dark stage..
ex at 1:29, the outer members are mostly in the dark and the shadows behind them are so heavy it’s clear none of the spotlights were making up for that space
if you dont value growth then tripleS is not for you. go stan other more “perfect” groups because here with tripleS we like to see improvement in each of their releases
They r already ready to debut but them learning new formations each performance is prob the reason they look lost 😭 if u want to really judge them based on their skills just watch their performances for their own individual units so hit the floor and choom - vv, inner dance - glow, nxt - just do it and their performance in hanteo award show
