- Professional Skimboarders Zac Henderson and Blair Conklin try to run in to a wave that very few have been successful at riding. This wave rarely works and when it does there is a good chance you or your board will end up in the rocks.

Used to ride that mini point on 11'6" racing paddle boards in the morning before work in the 70's. When the sand is just right it goes quite a ways. Off season lifeguarding was a great gig back then... Blair rocks!

Such a chill little spot that one! Lovely little peelers, although, rocks & toes don't always go well together... as always, Blair just carries so much damn speed and makes it look sooo easy! He is a true skim master. Also that 'missed skim to paddle to surf' at @8:22 - chefs kiss!

Riding the wrong boards! My nephew and his friends are avid longboarders who would rip up this little point break, I will show this to him as they visit laguna beach often, do you mind sharing what tide was breaking the best?

Where is the place?
It was on the north side of Laguna Main Beach. You can park right by the Museum and walk down.

It’s north, Main Beach, Laguna Beach and that rock is called seal rock amazing how you can find spots. They are literally right in front of you and shred.

Oh my bad it’s actually called Bird Rock not Seal Rock.
Laguna Beach has all kinds of Skim or wedge, body surfing,, or board based possibilities, it’s really unlimited, it’s only who sees what the limits are, and who can expand on it.
