He walked past the bush, stopped, then turned around and just walked into you. He wasn't even looking at the bush, then when he stopped he looked at his map then supposedly saw you. In my RP server, that's a automatic ban.
This has happened way too often .... these DOJ cops using their maps in order to locate the criminal and 'win'. It's specifically forbidden to use maps or ID tags during gameplay per what Polecat has said - however, dozens and dozens of times in past DOJ videos Buggs and/or Polecat have made clean getaways and the cops somehow flock to their location and nab them. Fucks up what otherwise are fun, creative and entertaining videos that Buggs, Polecat and Jeff put a lot of time and effort into.
Mike Costello that can't be true .... Polecat and Buggs both use maps often in DOJ when they are criminals. It's OK for the criminals to use their maps on occasion for planning get-away routes or to locate where the CIV cops are in order to stir shit up. But the RP cops are, as a rule, never supposed to use their maps or use the Steam gamer ID's that appear over players heads. And in this case it certainly appeared at least one of the RP cops used their maps to locate Jeff.
It's really disappointing that the Law enforcement officers have to cheat to find you. It ruins all the fun and ruins what little realism there is. Hopefully it can be resolved. Still an awesome video though :)
Jeff, get rid of the cheaters. You never respond to these types of comments, and i feel like the viewers have no say. Please ban them or something. Like so he can see this
Cheaters like them just ruin RP. Were they all surrounding and searching around one particular bush by coincidence? They should ban those cops starting with the LSPD unit that was so determined to search the bush.
Those cops had to have been using a map or the name thing, cause there's no way they could have seen you. That was BS and, if it were me, I would have been arguing against that the whole time. That's what I call "failrp"
polecat knows they're not supposed to use it, but they nvr learn. i hope he talks to them off-air and has a system of suspending/banning bad roleplayers like that.
I've been very critical of Jeff in the past, but I have to say that those cops were doing some straight bullshit to find him. They must have been using maps or player names. They also pulled Buggs over for complete bullshit too. It's both disappointing and frustrating as fuck because they ruin the content for the both the players and the viewers. Also, there's no need for it. It's Role Play, it's not even competitive as in each team can either win or lose. Polecat needs to start banning people. Anyway good video Jeff, just a shame some assholes had to spoil your role play and the viewing experience.
The point of roleplay is to make it as realistic as possible. It's clear some of those cops were using their maps to locate him because you couldn't see him at all
Just because we couldn't see him doesn't mean that he was actually standing in the bush on the cops screen. You ever heard of dsync. For all we know he wasn't in the bush for the cop until he was in the bush. But still bad form on the cops part if he had looked at map.
That was absolutely insane haha. Great job on all the DOJ videos recently Jeff, the different situations that play out on both LEO and civilian are really cool, nice seeing so many people taking it seriously, except for maybe the guys who found you in the bush.
there was no way they saw you in that bush. and when he walked through t multiple times to try to push you so they can see you. they took this long to find you in a bush that had as much cover as the other bush. the only way they would have known if you were there is if they saw you walk between the 2 bushes.
Jeff just ban the cops who cheated. Its not fun to watch and Im sure its much more of a pain and the ass to play with. Im sure theres thousands of fans who'd love to be apart of this series and actually rp fairly.
Fail Roleplay at it’s finest those cops for one have blips on the map showing where civs are and two why would you search a bush more than once it was already cleared. Fail RP!
Those ones around that tree were complete bullshit and ruined the entire experience. There is no way in hell with all of that cover they would go "Hey, lets just randomly go into this bush and "randomly" move around to try to push something out." Whoever those officers were need to get booted out of that server, I mean thats as blatant as you can get of using something to find out where someone is. For a closed server with apparently such a strict set of policies to get in I am sure we all as viewers expect more from them as we try to enjoy the content provided.
The cops tried to make seem like they were looking into the bush and act like they were just looking and found you, but it was so obvious because they stayed focused at the same exact bush Jeff was in for way too long. smh
38:08 yes I agree with that too. and also the shit way that Jeff was found in the bush...that ruined it for me, you can't do that unless you're cheating. fire whoever that was.
Unless the police stop cheating in DOJ I'm not going to watch another video, it ruins the rp experience and it ruins the viewing experience for people watching these DOJ videos, in my clan we have it mandatory that absolutely no one has their radar or name tags on.
You should have called out the cheaters live. RP is RP, but they broke character by using cheats. They just get away with it if you do nothing. Glad you guys left this shit hole server and started your own.
Honestly, the part that bothered me the most wasn't even the bush thing. It was how none of the cops seemed to know the term "armored truck" or "armored vehicle."
wow that's bullshit those cops were using their maps there is no way in hell they say you in that bush they should get banned for not playing fair like they were just hanging around for the longest and and that cop that was just searching the bush and and coming towards you like he could see you plain as day bro that pissed me off so much it was obvious they were cheating
I don't know why these cops, pretend that they're not cheating, from Polecat's POV they definetly cheated, no one could see you when you runned to the other bush... and is obvious that were checking the map, cause you clearly see the ped is standing up and then boom, gun to your face, and how they can fix it? walking aside you from the bush.... instead of the CZ patrols, when the guys are confused trying to get you while you are on the bush, like you said, it's bullshit what they did, a guy on these comments made a good words, this is roleplaying, not a fucking competitive mode, they're not winning something if they catch you... so roleplay to bring a chopper, or a K9, or just do a code 4... for Buggs, that pullover and inmediately hands up, come on!!! how they knew that he was driving that truck?!!? That destroy the roleplaying and the fun... even i was happy that Polecat just "punish" that cop who crashed him on the end... i just hate those noobs cops, but anyways, awesome job on that heist! amazing video Jeff as always!
Something needs to be done about the cops cheating. Not only does it ruin the RP experience for the players but it also ruins it for your viewers. I dont understand why people would join a RP server and then cheapen the whole experience by cheating. I wonder sometimes if its because they know Jeff, Buggs and Polecat are recording so they are just trying to make it into the video. Ive watched all of Jeff's and Bugg's DOJ videos along with some of Polecats and the cheating isn't just isolated to this video, it happens fairly often.
Jeff, how about next time you are hiding in a bush like in this video you just make your character invisible so that way you know if they are using maps or not. But other than that it was a great video!
Bullshit those cops looked at the screen from the start, that's why they never left the area and try to make it seem real by going into the bush. The hover job was clear
Definitely. One of them kept moving toward Jeff's position, like he was hoping Jeff would run. That way, it wouldn't look as though he knew Jeff was there the whole time.

No, it's not. He wasn't very far from the ditched vehicle, and they know he didn't leave the area. Furthermore, he was wearing a red shirt, not camouflage. By process of elimination, you can determine his likely location and go from there. I don't know why so many people struggle with simple logic.
@@dinkumthinkum4247 that's not how that works and you know it. Jeff, I joined Civil Air Patrol! Its amazing, well,I'm about to join, I have to Shadow 2 more meetings, its awesome! Also, I don't think I can go to SimCon, due to Civil Air Patrol. We have a PT, next Thursday. Also, amazing vid! I like the DOJ Series.
lol! great episode. it is b.s. how they found you in the bush. but I like the whole premise of the vid. more heists or ideas asking those lines please. exciting.
Actually, they only have to read you your Miranda rights if they are going to be questioning you about criminal activity. They don't have to question you before they put in a vehicle or place you under arrest. As long as they are only asking questions like "what's your name" "where are you coming from" or "what are you doing out here" they don't have to read your rights to you. It is only when they start asking questions like "where did you stash the money truck" or "why did you run from us" that they have to read you your rights. Anything that they ask that could result in an answer that incriminates you requires that you understand your Miranda rights beforehand.
Jeff I've got a burning question be wondering for ages. When you (or anyone) calls in a plate / name to control. In both DOJ and CODE ZERO. how does the controller know what to come back with (priors and stolen etc). Do you plan in advance? Leave it up to the controller? Use a random generator? How you do it? Thanks and P.S. loving all these vids as ever.
YeCannyDaeThat they normally have a cad for the dispatch and it involves license plates and the names of the individuals and what their back ground is and I'm pretty sure he gives information back to the dispatcher before the patrol
He walked past the bush, stopped, then turned around and just walked into you. He wasn't even looking at the bush, then when he stopped he looked at his map then supposedly saw you. In my RP server, that's a automatic ban.

YeCannyDaeThat they normally have a cad for the dispatch and it involves license plates and the names of the individuals and what their back ground is and I'm pretty sure he gives information back to the dispatcher before the patrol
You know life’s bad when you have to hide in a bush lmao
