DAVID MAXIM MICIC - Cry | Vladimir Lalic - live vocal cover

It is BILO IV anniversary! So I did a live vocal cover of the song Cry.
@David Maxim Micic - you did it yet again.
When this album was released one year ago, and when I finally heard it in its entirety, I wanted to share it and write about it, but I lost words.
And it took me one year and 8 times to hear the full album to start listening to it without bursting into tears. Yep, it hits hard.
In these times when most art is just about razzle dazzle, about technique and shock, about loudness and aggression and about politics and popularly, David Micic hits the soft spot hard - with sincere, emotional and truthful music. It is so complex, yet it is primal and universally open so each and every one can dive into it. I have even used this album as an example in my critical essay on universality in art. This is his personal story, with highest highs and lowest lows, told through the abstract language of music with such skill, that it becomes a mirror for us all to see over own reflection, and this is exactly what I think a great work of art should be.
I think this piece of music is his best yet, and he had sooo much excellent stuff so far, but d I feel even better is yet to come.
I can't begin to explain what it means to me to be a small part of the whole BILO saga. I am humble and grateful not only to be a musician and a colleague but a friend. Thank you David, I love you ❤️
