When you turn it on for the first time, does it automatically tell you the battery level or do you have to set it all up first? I can’t get mine to work no matter what I do, my solar system worked for 2 years then something happened so I got a new controller and mt50 and I can’t get it working. I even got new batteries and everything.
I have the 40a EPEVER SCC with the MT50...Love it. But I want to add the WiFi 2.4 dongle for remote monitoring. Can both be connected to the single RJ45 with some type of Y adapter?
On my boat I have 3 leisure batteries that are connected together and they 130AH each, I have a separate 110AH starter battery that has its own alternator, I have 2 solar panels that are 285w, epever 40amp controller that looks exactly like the one in the video and a MT50 charger regulator like you have. All this kit (apart from the solar panels) are brand new because the solar controller I had in for 2 years that worked perfect packed in for whatever reason so I bought new batteries and controller etc. I just cannot get the system to work. I have followed all the cables back to check they are correct and tried other ways but it won’t work. I’m at my wits end and I just don’t know what to do next, it’s almost summer time here in England so I need the solar system working while we have the sun shining! Any help, tips, advice, information or anything would be greatly appreciated.
