Joshua Bassett's advice to Ricky about handling change is so mature. I didn't learn it myself until I was in my late 20s/early 30s. Always thought you needed a plan and if things don't go to plan it's a disaster.
3:09 That's something I love a lot about this show; Carlos and Seb’s relationship, and Nini having two moms is almost unnoticeable in the beginning. Nobody talks about either that much in the show, which is how it should be; just another part of everyday life.

i just realized at the end when josh was talking about theatre and finding a refuge he was talking about himself and his own experience. I asume this interview was before he came out but coming back to it it’s very emotional to see him say that. so on top of everything i’m glad HE has the show for himself as well and has found a refuge in this cast too. 🥺 wonderful interview 💓

I love Joshua so much he’s my idol.
I don’t think I have seen Joshua talk much about LGBTQIA+ inclusivity (other than his coming out post obv). I mean I’m not queer but two of my best friends are and a few of my family members and every time I have an opportunity to support it I do, especially if I was given a platform like Joshua’s. Don’t get me wrong I love him so much and understand that it might be uncomfortable to him but I’m curious what other ambassettors/Bassett hounds think?
Joshua was accused of being homophobic at one point. He was never homophobic but perhaps that may be a reason why he's more quiet. Not to start drama.
Josh doesn’t use social media very often and he doesn’t do interviews anymore. Ik this comment is old but yeah. This interview was also before he came out. When josh can he always talks about ways we can do better but i just think it’s kinda hard to talk about when he doesn’t like being online.

I talked to the whole cast, including the actors who play the gay couple. This was just the first one I got finished. The rest of the interviews will be coming out soon.

The show is horrible, but I watch it every week because I love to watch shitty shows
the whole show feels a lot like a kid friendly remake of glee, which might explain why it's such a love/hate relationship.
