So I am a South African citizen living in South Africa currently, desperately in the process of getting out. Just some corrections.
The expropriation of land without compensation has not been legalised as of yet, but it has been decided before completing all the public forums that the ruling party is going ahead with the reform regardless.
The urban Black population do not even want this but the ruling party relies on the uneducated rural voters and this is pandering towards that demographic. Blacks and whites are currently afraid to purchase residential property because this will fail and they will most definitely go after all property.
They also want to nationalise the central bank. We are three steps away from being a communist utopia.

Here is how it will pan out like in Zimbabwe. They will seize land and the person in charge will give the land to supporters, since south African soil is the equivalent to the soil in Texas it can be farmed but, only by experienced farmers that can handle it, crops will fail, investors who sell materials and equipment will not be brought over out of fear of seizer, people will starve, the government will plead for the whites to come back (see Zimbabwe) and for billions in aid.
It will be another nail in the coffin setting for the biggest famine for any living thing since the Dinosaurs with rising global temperatures making things harder to grow there, poaching damaging the food chain, falling water tables, and over population via western and UN intervention.

What happens when you not only seize property without compensation but, do it with property with outstanding loans is it creates financial panic with international financial investors, causes the educated to flee, and it devalues currency leading to inflation. Rising temperatures make things EASIER to grow not harder.
Like I said Africa is a hard place to grow crops since it is mostly Savannah and Desert which average temperatures increasing a few degrees can decrease yield and spoil crops. Developed countries aren't effected as much by it as other countries they can move their crops around or can predict the best time to plant, Africa doesn't have this luxury. I have lost lots of tomatoes during heat waves and if you search "increase heat spoils crops" you can learn more.

In the 1600s the Boer moved into the region and created farms , and slighly later the Bantu tribes migrated down from the north. Today South Africa is ruled by the descendants of the Bantu, whos population has increased many times over thanks to the inventions of whites. Remove the whites and see how the productivity of farms will collapse.
