I saw him sing in a dingy bar in Hong Kong and I walked up said thank you... Your friggin amazing... And he said thank you. He sang a queen song and it was literally full of energy, so real and ridiculously perfect. Now watching hear on Oprah years after... What can I say... I am glad he was brought out for the world to watch and enjoy. Peace out Arnel.... Ps my father a musician brought me to watch him I was only 15.

I would have to say Mr. Arnel Pinada was one of the GREATEST replacement singers in the history of Rock and Roll, along with Mr. Sammy Hagar. These guys I think are as popular now as they were back in their prime, at least based on show attendance, longevity, and success. Obviously the band was on top of the world when Escape went #1, but not many bands take it back up as well as these guys did after losing one the greatest lead singers in the HISTORY of music. AMAZING stuff.

Andy Derksen He's great but it's apples and oranges to say he is better. Perry wrote the lyrics and had a hand in much of what was determined musically with other members. Arnel is an awesome imitator of different singers, especially Perry, but I think by definition you really can't say he's better because he is impersonating. I don't mean any disrespect to his obvious skills and he is for sure the best fit the band could have ever hoped for in their wildest dreams. What really makes me love this story is his personal struggles and how his life has changed. That in itself is beautiful and he deserves it for what he brings to the table.

That dvd is amazing. They are just un real live. Arnels voice and energy, CRAZY guitar solo's, amazing drums (and sings really well at the same time while playing them). They put most bands half their age today to shame.
