Dear Paul, Man can I relate to you. This sounds like my brother Johnny Michael. He had a heart attack at the age of 33, Then quadruple bypass at the age of 34. The surgery to harvest the saphenous veins from his legs to do his bypass surgery mutilated both of his legs. The skin began to heal from this harvesting, but the tissue twisted the nerves and he was in terrible pain until he passed away. After the surgery he was never the same. He could not work, could not even walk to the mailbox in his frontyard to get the mail. His heart had pretty much given out on him. He tried to get disability to have an income. When he stood before the judge at his disability hearing, the judge said," Son you are only 33 years old, I cannot give you disability at this young age." He died April 11, 1998, 2 weeks after he died, a letter came to his house, he was finally approved for disability. You perfectly described how my brother and I were around each other. I did everything I could do to help him. I feel your emotional pain . =^..^= God Bless you Paul and you brother too. I understand.

I'm sorry for the loss of your brother, at such a young age too. My relationship with my brother remains a bit strained and we still don't speak. It is my biggest challenge in life trying to just forgive him and understand that he is not trying to make things difficult for me. He just doesn't have the will to do anything. Much love and appreciation to you. Thank you for commenting. Aloha

Thank you for your concern, I am doing well, all things considered. I must admit though, my relationship with my brother continues to be one of my bigger life challenges. It is a constant exercise in futility and acceptance, neither of which I have come to terms with.
