Well he is highly rated now. Had doubts when he just started for the Boks but boy did he showed the critics wrong. He has developed into a world class winger.
@@mattbargeable SA won because of his massive scrum. That try should have been scored by Lukhanyo Am. The only goog thing he did at RWC was first try against Japan
He's fast, so athletic, big and finishes the movements very well - top wingers ALL need to do that or they're not TOP wingers. He also scored the bulk of his tries against Wales, Japan, Italy and Namibia but the main top class try was in RWC19 Final (biggest stage) vs England and THAT was THE try which is set up by his top class chip kick and vision plus his backing up and calm head. That is the try he needed to produce to prove his absolute class at all levels, and he did. He will be 5 times better for that, watch him score against all opposition now.
What a guy! Thanks for bringing so much joy to the majority of South Africans. We are so proud of you. I hope one day after your retirement from rugby, you decide to become a politician and run for president. I'll bet you that you will even do that right. You will be a very popular president.😅😅😅. Good luck to you in the future with your rugby career and all the best to you.
Mampimpi was acknowledging Uyinene "Nene" Mrwetyana (20 April 2000 - 24 August 2019). A South African student at the University of Cape Town who was raped and murdered in the suburb of Claremont, Cape Town. Her murder highlighted the broader national problem of gender based violence and femicide in South Africa, and is credited with "shifting the South African collective consciousness" and "igniting a movement".
Yeah, he was just doing his job, but clinically. You can see as his confidence grew and he could express himself more. It seems like he can still get better...he even scored two tries for the barbarians. He must be doing something right? 16 tries in 15 games.
@@selemalerato5644 Diyanti has more attributes, like more drugs :D Jokes aside. Dyantyi has scored 6 tries in 13 games and Mapimpi has scored 14 tries in 14 games. So even if Mapimpi has less attributes, like you claim, he definitely uses them better. Anyway...I hope Dyantyi comes right and succeeds after he has set his challenges (fair or not) aside.
I think Dyanti is a better all round player in terms of skill, has a bigger x-factor and is quicker of the line. But Mapimi has better long speed, his defense and awareness have come a long way and he is more consitent, and. The guy scores tries like clockwork.
Kolbe takes all the plaudits but this guy is devastating on the left side !
He's a very underrated winger. Makes scoring tries look easy
He's actually rated. Especially as a try scorer.
Probably the best finusher in world rugby at the moment

true he Reed's the game play very well and with hes speed to out run the defence before they can even get to hem makes it look to easy 🏃🔥
Rated under the best in the world
He loves taking it to those Japanese wingers🤣
Oooooooh! That is just glorious!!!! Lol kry ek lekker
MA-PIM-PIIII !!💪👕✨
ზარალა. I remember how he just touched Sevu Reece to let him make a game decider try in pool stage at RWC 2019 against All Blacks
I wont be able to forget that aswell
ლუ კა i remember how he scored a try in the final that South Africa won

I hope he has a long career like Habana.
I doubt. He is already 30 and probably has another 2-4 years left.
Mapimpi does not show much emotion on the field even when he was the first South-African to ever score in a rwc final he stil did not show emotion
Tough upbringing buddy, no time for other things. Just get the job done and go...😁😁

100%. We just wish for some Rugby at the moment James. Stay safe!
I also hope so, he started Super Rugby well too. Are you both a Springboks and England fan?
Henry Dube I am an England fan
@@pondbus1ness I've seen your comments on a few Springboks videos, you must be a true rugby fan.
Henry Dube yeah i suppose so, have been following it since 2015 RWC
Great finisher. always knows where he needs to be in order to score and is clinical with ball in hand.
He deserved his place in the team🔥🇿🇦🔥

Would like to give it a double like👍👍
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
4:00 that forward pass though
I love when he and Brits peel off the maul for that try against Namibia.
I always thought Mapimpi was slow but after watching him for a while he is deceivingly fast
Reminds me a little of Michael Johnson, doesn't look fast, but man oh man could he motor ua-cam.com/video/JQ9cBQANjiw/v-deo.html
Looking like he’s jogging but that lad has some serious wheels!
Lol. Funny man.
He doesn't waste his energy, if you see him being chased he is very fast
TheUltimate SharpShooter l always thought so too. He looks like he’s hurting when he runs.
This is an awesome wing and he is getting better every game.
He is hoing to catch bryan habanas record
Why is Mapimpi not in the squad?
This video doesn’t have that Xhosa commentary thing..I don’t feel it 😂😂😂😂😂
That pass from Pollard though against Japan, that pass was prolly travelling at a faster speed than Mapimpi😮
Go mapimps!!!
Come on in leaps and bounds, fantastic!
Lot of his tries come off a le roux pass or kick
I'm just here to say.. Mpimpi is going to make Watson look like a child on Saturday
What was on Mapimpi's wrist, which he showed during his tries in Japan?

I keep seeing it. The pass against Namibia was so far forward. I am a springbok fan and can't justify that try no matter how good it was.
Clinical
Champ 🏆🥇💪
And to think.......It wasn't long ago he was considered a quota.
the first half bar the try against England of this video were quite unspectacular. Most of the work done by the others. Habana still must quicker

His better then Diyanti
true...and dyanti got banned for substance use.
That's lie... Dyantyi can do more than mapimpi does, even though he's good, Dyantyi has more attributes
