#DGR it makes sense being able to smash blocks while small riding Yoshi. When small you are weak like Dave and can't break through a block. But when riding Yoshi I can give you a DGR guarantee that he is strong and with his jump strength can smash Toads little head through the blocks breaking them.

2:54 Maybe it's cos small Mario's little legs aren't strong enough to create enough jump force to break the bricks but when you jump with a Yoshi, you're jumping with Yoshi's legs which jump strongly enough to break the bricks.
It's interesting how both Carl and Dave had the same issue with thinking they had to damage boost through the _falling_ icicle. It seems Dave figured it out a lot quicker, though.
