Deeper Sonar Pro Plus Helps Us Boat Monster Bass! - Bass Fishing

  • Tom and I launched the Deeper Sonar Pro Plus and it helped us boat monster bass, we had one of our best bass fishing trips to date while deploying the Deeper Sonar pro. I have to admit I was a little skeptical of the product at first and I had seen it floating around UA-cam but I am honestly impressed and no, I am not being paid to say so. The gentlemen with Deeper reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in field testing the sonar, I have always been fascinated with any technology that could potentially help me to be a better fisherman, so I agreed. Once I received the Sonar, I plugged in it to make sure it was fully charged, it took a couple hours. In the mean time I downloaded the app, this process was pretty painless. Once the Deeper was fully charged I stopped at a local pond, activated the Bluetooth and was up and running. I was pretty amazed with how simplified they made the process, I have had zero issues with the app thus far and the sonar seemed to be working flawlessly to my surprise. The features are pretty fundamental, especially if you have any familiarity with other units such as the Lowrance, Garmin or Hummingbird sonars.
    I like how compact the Sonar ball is, it’s no larger than a typical tennis ball. Have you ever frequented a local pond or lake and were just curios of the depth or vegetation? I know I have and this is what really can make this product stand out, don’t expect super high def side scan images but the sonar accurately displays water temperature, vegetation, fish and depth/ledges. In this video, I attached the sonar ball to the arm that is meant to be attached to the side of your kayak or vessel. We could quickly locate the drops and vegetation; we also observed that the fish were hugging the bottom quite closely, so we chose to throw crankbaits in the areas that we could see them. Sure enough, it wasn’t long and we were catching fish, not only were we catching fish but we were catching giant bass. Multiple 8lb fish, the video doesn’t lie friends.
    Watch as I walk you through some of the great features of the sonar, If you have been thinking about purchasing one I can honestly say I think they are worth the money. I can’t speak for durability just yet but you better believe I am going to put this bad boy to use. If you enjoyed this video, please like, share and subscribe and until next time, we will see you on the water!

    Great video ... Does the fish icons reflect the actual size of the fish? The finder was attached to the boat but you were casting several feet away? So, how did it help you find the big bass? What is the coverage radius (not depth) of the finder? Thanks In Advance!

    what advice do you have for me when it comes to lures and crank baits and spinner baits and so forth... I live in Sacramento California and I fish the American river any tips and tricks thanks

    • @Saltyscales
      @Saltyscales  7 років тому +1

      I would find out the depth, what is the bottom made up of? Is there rocks and structure? I know you said river, is the water murky? If so, I would recommend throwing a chartreuse color crankbait, if it's clear then try a white bait or a lighter color. Make sure you get a crankbait that is really going to deflect off of the bottom and structure. The more noise the better. That is what draws the reaction strikes in many instances.
