Tina, I travelled the TGV Montparnasse to Lourdes just like you! And sat on the right side of the train, and saw Bordeaux just like you! I travelled just a little earlier than you, in September 2019. I stayed in the Ibis Hotel which you saw from your hotel window! I shopped at the Lourdes Monoprix just like you! I went to Lourdes for the same reason. I had extraordinary private experience right outside the Ibis Hotel seen in your video.
@@TINAROLREG88 Tina, from my hotel room I could see your window! From my window I saw the church Bernadette was baptized in as a baby. There happened to me a series of extraordinary experiences about my trip to Lourdes, Nevers (Bernadette's body lies), Paris (Rue du Bac Chapel).
Great video! Could you please answer the following questions: 1. Did you have to reserve train ticket in advance? How much was it and was it nonstop ride? 2. What hotel did you stay and how much did they cost per night? What was the walking distance to Lourdes shrine? Do you have their booking website? Thanks and God bless.
Hello Andre! Good day. Regarding your queries. 1. I would highly recommend to book it very well ahead of time. Kindly download Oui.sncf app now it's SNCF CONNECT for much easier and convenient way of booking a ticket for a journey. It cost me total 82 Euro First Class TGV INOUI. That was the last minute booking. It's much cheaper 1 week ahead. From Paris Montparnasse station 5 stops to Lourdes before Tarbes is the last drop off. 2. I stayed in Majestic Hotel which is 200 meters 10 mins walk to Notre Dame Sanctuaries (Lourdes Church Entrance) and 100 meters from SNCF train station.. Getting off the train station turn right it's near to Ibis Style Hotel. There's a lot of very affordable and cheapest Hotel near to the Sanctuary as well with free breakfast. It cost me 41 Euro per night standard room. I highly suggest to book the hotel directly to their website. Thanks & Best regards, Tina
