Andrew!!! If I didn't have to be 6 feet away I'd hug you!!!! Outstanding and refreshing! I'm putting together a realistic tool kit for my car and have reviewed an embarrassing amount of videos. This is the only one where the host's opinions haven't been bought, the tools were either too complicated or too simplistic and the reality of the contents didn't make sense. The selection you have is appropriate, adequate and realistic. The presentation wasn't tacticool, ex-navy seal, preper BS. Like yours...my tools reflects the reality that I'm not pulling my engine, zombies aren't chasing me and I'm not going to be the Omega Man. Thanks so much. Well done.
Thanks man! No 6 foot thing here in FL 🤣. Since I've put this together I've used the gloves and the flashlight the most of all (my truck was purchased brand new, so I haven't had to fix many things ... yet)
Not sure if you have additional sockets outside of this kit in your truck, but you're gonna need an 8mm too. But thats a great kit! My maxpedition should be in soon and I've got stuff ready to build it with
I really like this kit but I would add a couple things to it if your keeping this in your truck I would add a 1/4 inch drive socket and ratchet set you can get metric and standard sockets with a ratchet and extension for like 20 from kobalt and also add some spare fuses
I would highly recommend a Knipex cobra instead of the vise grips, maybe a 5 or 6 inch would do. Or maybe just add a 4 inch one without removing any. But a good tool kit nevertheless

So refreshing to see a useful kit and not a bunch of useless gear you will never use.
Finally a real tool kit...makes sense a surgeon would know the tools needed for a job and not expensive gimmicks

I do need to add some smaller sockets. The price was too good on the little socket set to pass up.

Check out Knipex adjustable plier wrench and Channel Locks 4 in 1 rachet wrenches. Streamline your tools a little and give you more function.
