I used to own on in the monogram print. I recently sold it b/c I've compartmentalized reward cards from credit cards and cash into 3 different cles Pochettes.... Great review . Keep up the good work!

Great review! I settled on the Epi in Navy Blue. Showing how the different materials wear with use made this vid. Other reviews pretty much only show them brand new.

I am looking to buy either a Epi Pocket Organizer or a Taiga Pocket Organizer. Which do you think will be more durable. I am very careful with my wallets and they never go into my pockets. I take very good care of my stuff. It to me sounds like you like EPI.
Haha, I only smell them in the privacy of my house. That's quite a collection! Looks like you just need the infini (and an exotic) to complete your collection. Taiga is my favorite leather because it's the only material exclusive for men, but it is more pliable than Epi, but is way better quality than the generic saffiano leather by other brands.
lol I will smell them any where lol. Theres some more I am missing yes, I wanted Infini but its a very soft leather as well and ones I have seen look very wrinkled and had denim transfer on them as well so I am on the fence with that. I know what you mean about taiga, I just hate how pliable it really is but I still love it. Thats why I told him to stay away from taiga because the pieces I have owned (bags) dont seem to hold their shape over time and start to get sloppy ive noticed, but thats just me :)

I know you mentioned how the Epi leather is thicker than the taiga, but how does the Epi leather compare to the canvas in terms of thickness? Also, do you think the taiga leather is durable? By the way, loved the video.

I do find the card slots hard to use on the right. I wish they had more space between them and only find myself using the top and bottom

Whew. . .I'm a huge fan of these as a wallet as well. I really do want the monogram eclipse, but I hear it will be a permanent option soon, so no rush now. Great video!!
They are the best! I got my friend hooked on them too :) The Eclipse one is beautiful. Yeah I hear its permanent too but you never know! So I was not taking any chances

Josdhua S Joshop I had the monogram eclipse because I loved the design but after 3 months of use the glazing started to come apart. I went In and considered it a defect and I got the Epi leather and now it’s been a year and it looks almost flawless. Point is any full leather wallet will outlast the canvas of the monogram eclipse.
I would like to buy the classic monogram if you still have it. I'm trying to find the old style.
If say you wanted to keep one for 10-20 years. Which type of leather/canvas do you think would be most durable? It may be leather but I’ve always had my leather wallets crack somewhere on the wallet usually where it folds
Hey! Well thats hard to say. I rotate my pieces frequently to prevent wear and because I like change. If I had to pick though canvas over time can crack (I have never had any issues with that thought, but have seen people share LV pieces that have) and leather will break down over time but the Epi leather to me seems pretty sturdy!

Hi, sadly I do not own that piece! It is not my style of wallet I prefer sadly. It is a beautiful piece though and does much more than any pocket organizer would do. Ive played around with it in the store and I would TOTALLY recommend it to others but its just not for me and my style :)
Hey MattD 74 I hope all is well mate!! I just want to let you know I took your advice again and I got the Pocket organizer in EPL in the Bleu azur colour!! I ended up getting the last one online I didn't go into the store to see it I just want for it from your advice and mate omg what a beautiful piece! you were right the colour is amazing I just can't get over how beautiful the blue is!! like you i'm not a huge fan of blue but that Bleu azur colour is just simply amazing! the EPL material is sooooo amazingly strong and its my first piece in that material! The piece is very very hard to find now and I don't think lv is going to make anymore in that colour so I'm just so lucky to have gotten the piece when I did! especially a week before christmas! thanks for the advice on your videos mate keep them up! will you be purchasing any more pocket organizers soon?? or any other pieces soon??
oh and to add to that mate I ended up buying the Graphite PO in Italy! again it was the last one at the Florence store! I swear I must just be lucky I just don't know hahahaha
Hey! thats AWESOME! I am glad you got both of them. The azur color is for sure a seasonal color and will more than likely no be kept around much longer or any longer already until they introduce a new shade of blue! I've heard of the corner on the full canvas model cracks over time. I want to purchase the full canvas one but I'm indifferent because of what I've heard. I plan to put mine through 20+ years of use. Do you think that it will last? Or should I get the one with the leather side?
Hey! I have not had ANY issues with cracking and I have used a PO for MANY years, sometimes stuffed to the max and its ALWAYS in my back pocket and I sit on it ALL the time and no issues. My only issue would be a leather one such as my taiga one I explained did mold to the cards as you saw in the video... you should be just fine :)

hey matt d 74 I hope all is well mate! I have a question for you man but I think you have already answered it in the video but i'm just going to go ahead and ask anyway hahaha! I am going to purchase a pocket organizer I have the slender wallet in damier graphite but I also want a pocket organizer because I love the way its designed and the fact I can switch out wallets if i am going out and want to carry less etc etc and something very slim the pocket organizer I think is the way to go mate and i agree with you! But my question I wanna ask you is which one in your opinion would you choose to get damier graphite or monogram eclipse?? I have reserved both versions at my local louis vuitton stores but they told me on the phone the store down the street they have the last monogram eclipse in Australia atm!! so I am undecided on which one to pick up I can't get both versions :( I have pretty much everything in damier graphitie besides my apollo backpack I got thats in monogram eclipse! but however the store that has the monogram eclipse will get back to me if its a brand new one or a display one tomorrow because I will not get it if its a display one! I don't want to get one thats been touched by 1000000000000 people hahaha if you get what I mean! but if it does turn out to be brand new which one would you recommend to get out of those 2 in your opinion?? thanks mate
Hey! If I were you, I would go for the Eclipse PO. This way you can have another canvas piece in your collection especially to go with your Eclipse Apollo Backpack. It would go very well with that and then you would have 2 pieces of eclipse in your collection. Do not get it if its a display piece. I REFUSE to buy display pieces, never have and never will! The eclipse is more popular so I can see the stores running out quicker in that canvas than the Graphite which is a classic and will always be around. Eclipse will be around as well but its just so new its still has popularity with it. I hope that helps! One day you can get the Graphite PO, down the road for sure! You are going to enjoy this type of wallet its a nice change to a billfold. The Eclipse and my Chapman Elephant are actually my top 2 favorites :)

Guess what mate!! it wasn't a display one!! the store that had it didn't call me back so I rang up client services again they told me my store the george St store in sydney got a resupply but they had 2 left!! a display one and a brand new one so I reserved that one as well because they still couldn't tell me if the one from the other store was a display one or not so I was pretty much safe I was going to get a brand new one regardless! I brought it from the george st store the other store that had it it wasn't a display one but when I checked it it was made in france, I felt it the leather was very loose already and it just didn't feel right IDK maybe its the way they stored it? maybe its just me being picky but compared to my store that had the brand new one as well it just didn't feel brand new, the one in my store felt brand new and the smell was amazing!! the leather was tight it felt brand new! but the only neg thing was the PO was made in spain not france its not a big issue for me but oh well! do you get bummed if your louis vuitton isn't made in france?? do you think I should have maybe waited for one that is made in france or gotten the one from the other store?? and to add to that I actually can't believe how slim these pocket organizers are they don't look small if you don't go and see them instore hahaha! its a big change for me but i'm happy I have the option now to use the pocket organizer then my slender wallet! I will get the graphite down the road but i'm very grateful that I got the eclipse PO since its sold out everywhere hahaha
Hey, congrats! its a great piece, you will love it and adjust to it pretty quickly for sure! I prefer Made in France, but I will accept Italy and Spain items. I REFUSE to buy a product made in the USA from LV, but that is just me.

Hey Matt do they still make the damier graphite Bordeaux? I know they make the neon I'm guessing these are a limited collection? Anything you know about it would help! Also do you own the ombre or the taurillon if so what do you think? Really interested in investing in a PO!
Hey! I remember that one! I believe that one is long gone now. They have since introduced new versions with different colors. I did like that style though! I do not own either of those leathers. From what I have gathered the Ombre is similar to the Nomade which I do own and that type of leather can scratch easily. Mine does have some wear to it and I think it looks really good now. It is definitely a more delicate leather, try and check out an Ombre to get a feel of it, they are beautiful! The Taurillon is super nice and is on my list of PO's to get eventually. Its a thick grained leather and I think it will hold up well over time. I look forward to getting that style soon! I hope this helped some! Let me know which one(s) you get!
Yes you have helped me extremely lol I watched your video after watching a few others and yours was by far the most informative you definitely know your stuff I appreciate it! Right now it's a toss up between the neon damier and the taurillon, for the money I'm leaning towards the graphite strictly because I like the color scheme and don't wanna miss my opportunity to get it the taurillon is a bit more high end but will be around so yea I will absolutely let you know what I get! Thats very nice of you to say! I get a lot of shit for my videos not being so great ive been told but glad it has helped someone finally! ha! Id go with the Damier one too since I think thats going to be a limited run. Taurillon will be around, if anything they may discontinue a color but I dont see them flying off the shelves any times soon since its up there in price and its for a specific buyer since its on the discreet side and for more of a leather enthusiast :)

hey what the main difference between the james wallet and the pocket oraganizer?
I am not too familiar with that wallet, but from what I recall I believe you can actually lay bills in it similar to a billfold style since the wallet is bigger than a pocket organizer. It also has more slots. I do not like laying my bills the way a billfold does so a P.O. works perfect for me.

Just a FYI, the special edition with the white stripes is Silk Screen on the Canvas.
It sucks because all of the women's SLGs they come out with with the darling designs, are all silk screen prints and are susceptible to getting scratched and chipped off. You're lucky they gave you anything for it.
Btw, Graphite is pronounced "Gra-feet" it's all French.. ;)
