Over the past 40 years I’ve had three Bayliner‘s from 30 down to 17 1/2 feet. My current Bayliner is 13 years old and everyone in the family loves it.
Gas mileage is super important and my little 3.0 MerCruiser just sips the fuel. I hope you have a trailer so you can get to all of the different lakes and rivers in that northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin area. What fun.

Hey what’s up, Thank you for watching! I had the dealer instal a table. They installed and put the standard white boat table I later purchased the teak table off of eBay for less than $200. I really like it and makes the cockpit look a little more classy.

hmm if you plan on having large groups often I would consider going with the 200, I've had 9 on board and it ran well but would definitely struggle to get on plane when going against the wind.

Thank you for watching! So the upgrades I got was: Bimini top, sea grass flooring, depth finder, table mount, blue floor lighting, porta potty. I got it before the pandemic and paid under 40k. Price would be closer to 50k now due to the shortage.
Beautiful Boat!! I own the 2018 model and it is FOR SALE, so if anyone is interested it's got 20 hrs on it and is like brand NEW. I am in Austin TX.

Hi, I just bought the same boat and I was wondering if you know de diameter of that teak table? I found it on Etsy but it comes in three different sizes. I Appreciate it !
The bayliner is my favorite boat at the boat club.
Question. Thinking of getting one but want to leave it in all year around in a slip. Can you tilt engine all the way up so it’s out of water? Thanks.
The 2021 200hp OB models are able to tilt all the way up, definitely double check with your dealer, Mine does not tilt all the way up, i do get the propeller out of the water tho.
How do you oike the snap in flooring?
How is the steering. I took a vr6 for a test ride and the steering was stiffer than all the other boats I tested.
I will say that it is a bit stiff, I also don't think mine has power steering tho. I believe those that do have it are a lot smoother. Doesn't really cause me any trouble tho
@@captainarnold5840 why don't boats come standard with power steering? pros and cons?
@@GodzUnit01 to keep them more reliable . On an outboard, there is nowhere to mount a power steering pump.

@@captainarnold5840 40 is plenty fast enough for a boat that size. its a cruiser.
