Yeah the day after I set up a time to pick up the Eagle 2 and wing kit I saw he listed this for $70 no plans. I immediately told him I was interested in it to hold it for inspection. The box is really rough but the contents all good. It checked out! He said 2 other people wanted it before I got to his place. Sometimes I just fall into deals….
wow i thought i was the only one who kept old transmitters, i have a couple of old jr transmitters on 36meg use them for my gliders and the best thing about it is nobody is ever on your frequency because no one uses it, great to see the old stuff coming back again great video david
In the last few weeks I’ve bought several kits. Very unlike me. Some no one knows about yet. SS20 SS60 Ace 4-60 SIG LT-40 Already had SIG hog bipe and tower hobbies uproar 40.
Hello Nice find I have a fc18 probably a bit more recent And i found a module online to replace the 41mhz by a 2.4ghz maybe you could find one for this emitter, of course no problem finding corresponding receivers... Cheers And txs for your videos !
there are 2 ways to get that radio working again, you can keep the old module, and get a synthisized, reciever, these will bind tothe 72 mgh frequencys, OR you can sendthem to Tony at radio south R/C, and he will upgrade the module to use modern 2.4 RX's, make of your choice. then its just a life battery pack for power I have used both with noissues, but I'llbe sending allod mine to Tony for upgrades and calibrating them
Yeah, I'm on old scool. I got graph radio's Thomas. I've yet so many old radios. I do my homework. Do my own salary. Dumont, Tyler, I've taken parts of radios other receivers with the crystals. Matching up and they do work. I aint got 6 and 8 channel radios. And if you need some perch, get ahold of Robert and we'll see what we can got over a 125 old radios. Parts
I have 3 futaba AM receivers , 32 ,38 and 54 frequency , if you would like these , will give them to you as don't use these anymore ! If interested in these , let me know and will ship them to you ! Enjoy your videos and keep up the good work !

Hello David…Try to find an FM module for this radio (they do exist) and then you can use any common FM dual conversion receiver…
Why though? What is wrong with the AM module?
Nothing wrong…that’s in case you can’t find an AM receiver…you have that other option
@ i see. Thank you!
