You should do a prophets "the great journey" team with the arbiter, Tartarus, and maybe the diadact or some jackal snipers or ultra elites with needlers. I'm not 100% sure of the idea but I think it will work.
What separates Nick from better players like iSpiteful and Pingy? Its your personality and I could care less if you could get 100 kills in warzone you're personality is the main reason why I watch you bro. Stay true
Start by reading The Fall of Reach, The Flood, First Strike and Ghosts of Onyx in that order. From there you can just read any one you want. The audiobooks for them are pretty good too if you just don't want to read.
To add to that, read Contact Harvest before you read The Fall of Reach, as it is chronologically the first book (Edit: there are the forerunner books, which are *technically* the first, but I got about halfway through the first one, and they're just kinda dull). If you've played Halo CE you can basically skip The Flood because it's kinda just a novelisation of that. There are a few extra details, so maybe if you're a hardcore fan it might be worth a read..
You're very funny compared to many other youtubers, it might because you're Irish, or because you have funny commentary, you're just more fun to watch than many other youtubers
Ryan Johnson Bayonets r the greatest thing that 434i has ever put into halo 5. Just imagine a concept of getting killed instantly by a cheap weapon that doesn't require any req points to spawn, and have an infinite collection of them. Don't get me started about loosing your req weapon to that bayonet or a specific power up that goes perfectly with it, CAMO. Ahhhhh isn't it wonderful??!!
Fred actually used to lead Spartan Red Team during a few ops, given that he was considered to be a highly capable leader amongst the Spartan II's. Pretty fitting that you landed on red team this game. Anyway, gg as always Nick, and keep up the quality content.
Halo: The Fall of Reach tells the origen of the Spartan program and their training. it's by far one of the best and most entertaining books. The writer is Eric Nylund, and he's written various Halo books. all of his Halo books are gold!
The fall of reach, first strike, and ghosts of onix are great books also I really enjoy you videos because of the personal touch you put on them your a down to earth dude I'd really like to play some rounds of halo sometime
Nick, one of the Halo books you may enjoy is "Halo: The Flood". It follows the Chief and Cortana during the events of Halo: CE, but also shows what all the other UNSC members (and Covenant) were up to during that time. : )
Hey Nick there's a book called Halo: Evolutions which is a collection of small Halo stories from different parts of the Halo universe. The stories are really great and they're all from different authors as well. Best part is that it's not part of a series so you can just pick it up and start reading even if you have no background in the Halo books.
Great video and I liked the use of the blood of Suban, I kind of wish you would pick up more weapons on the ground as Spartans have been trained in the use of all weapons, still a great video. Also, I have read several halo books and of all the ones I've read "Halo the Fall of Reach" is the perfect one to start with. The timeline starts off immediately following halo CE and explains what happened to Johnson and explains how you make it back to the UNSC. this is also the best place to start because it explains through flashback what exactly happened during the Spartan II program and how he is basically the leader of the Spartans.
8:19 An update a while back made it so that it takes two grenades to destroy any of the Scorpion variants (one grenade still destroys a base Scorpion). Which is good news for a certain ex-Halo UA-camr who tea bagged a guy for 30 seconds after getting spawn boarded...
Nick I would get the book halo mythos I just got it last Christmas and it's really informative about the basic lore of halo and is a great book to start with :)
i watch you for you nick. i love your content but your personality is great. i'm somewhat like you but also different lol. and I like how supportive you are of your own subscribers and love our support.
If you want a really good Halo book, you should definitely start with Halo: Ghosts of Onyx. It tells quite a bit about Blue Team along with backstory about the Spartan III program and some hints about Noble Team's origins.
I do watch you because you're the only one halo youtuber with a great personality compared to the others I've watched. your reactions are funny nonetheless that's why I subscribed. also I was in a game versus you and didn't know you were recording for the pro pipe only challenge and I laughed when you dropped f bombs on me for killing you with a mantis. anyway, you're a great halo player despite the mishaps warzone has to offer, i'm learning from you ;)
The first book you should read is the fall of reach which shows the origin of master chief and hes given a character and personality that the bungie games never gave him we see his struggles and his losses, but most of all it is an example of doing the wrong thing for the right reasons
Definitely read the books man. I’m not a big reader myself, so I use audible, I’ve been through 14 books of halo. The Fall of Reach is a great start. The flood. First strike. Silent storm. Forerunner saga is good too. Definitely get into the books man. They’re amazing.
Actually, in the Fall of Reach, Fred was on Red Team. Linda was on Green Team at one point then Red, and Kelly was also on Red Team during the Fall of Reach
I remember playing with you on A.R.C. and getting our asses destroyed some time back. Hope to see you on the battlefield again under better circumstances!
You should do"The Great Journey" as a team. you could use the Arbiter, the Tartarus, and maybe some H2 jacul snipers with H2 Beam rifles. (maybe you could use the diadact. I know that he's not really a part of the great journey but they did worship the for-runners)
fall of reach is a good place to start, it takes place when the Spartans are young and then when the battle for reach is taking place. It's more (and better) than the film.
I'd start with Fall of Reach. It's the story of the original SPARTAN-II program with John, Linda, Fred, Kelly, etc. as kids. All the books by Eric Nylund are fantastic.
Contact Harvest (Technically the 5th book, but the best place to start) > The Fall of Reach > The Flood (novelisation of Halo 1, you can skip it if you've played the game) > First Strike > Ghosts of Onyx. After ghosts of Onyx, there's The Cole Protocol, Evolutions (a collection of short stories), Broken Circle, New Blood, Hunters in the Dark, Saint's Testimony, Last Light, and Shadow of Intent. These can be read in basically any order. Then there's the Forerunner Trilogy (yaaaaaaaawn). It's boring as hell, but it sets the new Forerunner lore in Halo 4 up. Then there's the Kilo-5 Trilogy, which I've not read if I'm honest, but it apparently deals with the aftermath of the Human-Covenant War at the end of Halo 3. My favourites are either First Strike or Contact Harvest. Hope that's helpful :)
After the Blue Team videos are done, you should try an Arbiter challenge. Brute Plasma Rifles, Carbines, Energy Swords, Active Camo, and Plasma Grenades. I know playable elites aren't a thing anymore, but you could at least wear Helioskrill. :)
Well have you seen the Halo movie "Fall of Reach?" It tells you how Mastercheif became who he is. The animation may look weird but that's only because its a animated comic. I've seen it with my brother and I enjoyed it A LOT.
Dude in Campaign mode Master chief uses everything just by picking it up. It seems by the game all spartans know how to use all weapons. And regardless if i were the UNSC i would be Reverse engineering the shit out of every covie Tech i can find!! So fuck the haters BLOOD OF THE SUBAN FTW. Do you nick! keep u the good work Bro i love it!
So Nick, I would recommend getting contact harvest first, it is where the UNSC meet the convant, and Srg. Johnson is the main charter. Then I would New blood, because Buck is the main character, overall all the books are great, but there are no particular order.
You don't have to scroll to see if you got the most kills, if you have a yellow dot next to your kills at the in game stats screen, it means you had the most. Like at 10:39
Read Fall of Reach by Eric Nylund. One of my favorite books in general and is the book that got me hooked in Halo lore. BTW, my fave precision weapon is the DMR. Love that gun. sucks it takes 8 REQs to get it though.
*I would have used Bayonets if they weren't the cheapest tactic in Warzone lol*
dude for real, spawn in a weapon just to get taken by these god forsaken bayonets
UberNick my favorite precision is actually the blood of suban
What about Kelly? And when you did Linda you looked ugly cause you were using the male body, and their armour is made for female.
You should do a prophets "the great journey" team with the arbiter, Tartarus, and maybe the diadact or some jackal snipers or ultra elites with needlers. I'm not 100% sure of the idea but I think it will work.
UberNick you should play games with fans
What separates Nick from better players like iSpiteful and Pingy? Its your personality and I could care less if you could get 100 kills in warzone you're personality is the main reason why I watch you bro. Stay true
Eduardo Tapia perfectly said! Agree 100%
aye fam!
Eduardo Tapia i dont mean to be rude, but i find it funny when he gets angry
TheCitedAviator everyone does lmao it's called uberrage for a reason 😂😂😂😂
Nick gets 3 assassinations and they are all on the same guy 😂😂
LOL I never noticed, poor guy
Aw I feel bad for that
**Rage quits**
Almost a 4th time too
Start by reading The Fall of Reach, The Flood, First Strike and Ghosts of Onyx in that order. From there you can just read any one you want. The audiobooks for them are pretty good too if you just don't want to read.
Spartan Jodan794 What is your favourite halo book you've read?
Spartan Jodan794 yea fall of reach is definitely a good starter
To add to that, read Contact Harvest before you read The Fall of Reach, as it is chronologically the first book (Edit: there are the forerunner books, which are *technically* the first, but I got about halfway through the first one, and they're just kinda dull). Spartan Jodan794
Last Light is incredible as well, but those are the ones to start with indeed
Halo: The Fall of Reach. Best halo book ever. Your a hero Fred, wait two grenades! Haha
halo first strike is a great book and Fred happens to be the main character so far. but so far it's a great book.
You're very funny compared to many other youtubers, it might because you're Irish, or because you have funny commentary, you're just more fun to watch than many other youtubers
Last Light focuses on Fred and is a pretty good book
Combat knives? Bayonets 😉
Netslayer 117 no.just fucking no.
Netslayer 117 cheapy McCheapsCake
Ryan Johnson Bayonets r the greatest thing that 434i has ever put into halo 5. Ryan Johnson he kinda made that obvious
That Jo Jo reference in the thumbnail :-)

Eduardo Tapia HYPEEE

My personal favorite Halo book is the Flood. It's basically the novelization of CE
It is probably the best and I thank the book for not including the library
* mission
Mark DiMaggio It did include the Library
Yeah but it didn't take a whole hour to read
Fred actually used to lead Spartan Red Team during a few ops, given that he was considered to be a highly capable leader amongst the Spartan II's. Pretty fitting that you landed on red team this game. Anyway, gg as always Nick, and keep up the quality content.

A Swanky Lemon Don't forget the midnight visor..
The fall of reach, first strike, and ghosts of onix are great books also I really enjoy you videos because of the personal touch you put on them your a down to earth dude I'd really like to play some rounds of halo sometime
Nice video Nick, it was an amazing video nick, every video keeps getting BETTER. BIG Fan.
Nick, one of the Halo books you may enjoy is "Halo: The Flood". It follows the Chief and Cortana during the events of Halo: CE, but also shows what all the other UNSC members (and Covenant) were up to during that time. : )
I would say read fall of reach and first strike cause they tell blue team and Chiefs story when they started out
Hey Nick there's a book called Halo: Evolutions which is a collection of small Halo stories from different parts of the Halo universe. The Fall Of Reach is a great Halo book that I think you would enjoy reading:) It has the story behind Blue Team and how they came to be.
Nick I would get the book halo mythos I just got it last Christmas and it's really informative about the basic lore of halo and is a great book to start with :)
Nick it is amazing that you have pushed the challenges as far as you have. Great gameplay man.
i watch you for you nick. i love your content but your personality is great. i'm somewhat like you but also different lol. and I like how supportive you are of your own subscribers and love our support.
OMG that's the funniest thing I've heard all day "mongooses and like little turtles"
If you want a really good Halo book, you should definitely start with Halo: Ghosts of Onyx. It tells quite a bit about Blue Team along with backstory about the Spartan III program and some hints about Noble Team's origins.
The Halo 2 battle rifle is My fav loudout weapon in warzone! Whats youres
Eric fricking merk mine is the easy cannon 9000
Eric fricking merk The laser targeter AR

I do watch you because you're the only one halo youtuber with a great personality compared to the others I've watched. your reactions are funny nonetheless that's why I subscribed. also I was in a game versus you and didn't know you were recording for the pro pipe only challenge and I laughed when you dropped f bombs on me for killing you with a mantis. anyway, you're a great halo player despite the mishaps warzone has to offer, i'm learning from you ;)
Loved watching! Can't wait for the next blue team ep.
In halo fall of reach, Fred came in second on everything so you could say he was the jack of all trades
Nick my favorite precision weapon has to be the gavel.....
Sealpup Sea lol
My three favorites are ghosts on onyx, fall of reach and the kilo-5 series as the best places to start
The first book you should read is the fall of reach which shows the origin of master chief and hes given a character and personality that the bungie games never gave him we see his struggles and his losses, but most of all it is an example of doing the wrong thing for the right reasons
"Mongooses are like turtles" - Nick 2017
fred is the best blue team member in my opinion
Fred is also an excellent marksmen and sniper in the books.
You should do a Sargent Johnson challenge where you use any classic halo rocket launcher or any saw and equip the soiled armor
Definitely read the books man. I’m not a big reader myself, so I use audible, I’ve been through 14 books of halo. The Fall of Reach is a great start. The flood. First strike. Silent storm. Forerunner saga is good too. Definitely get into the books man. They’re amazing.

Nick, In order to master the art of the ninja, you must learn to ninja yourself.
Just got the centurion and hell jumper armor. I'm completely indecisive. Which to you guys think is nicer ?
"POWYER UP" the mad NI accent
I loved this video, I like assassinations so this suited me :D
Ethan Riley :D
You should do"The Great Journey" as a team. you could use the Arbiter, the Tartarus, and maybe some H2 jacul snipers with H2 Beam rifles. (maybe you could use the diadact. I know that he's not really a part of the great journey but they did worship the for-runners)

I'd start with Fall of Reach. It's the story of the original SPARTAN-II program with John, Linda, Fred, Kelly, etc. as kids. All the books by Eric Nylund are fantastic.
Audible homie, audio books. Halo is on there too.
I was in your game nick. when you said I'll do a t bag to my teammate that was me
As Cinema Sins would say:
THE BOOKS DON'T MATTER
Favorite precision weapons:
Halo 2 BR, Whispered Truth, Halo 2 Beam Rifle Delta (if you count snipers since they're power weapons first)
I liked before the video started I love your content keep up the good work
When using camo, apply the ADVANCED SENSORS ABILITY it will allow you to walk while still being invisible and off radar
Came for Jojo, stayed for Nick.
+Treecko Kirby :)
Also my favorite precision weapon is the DMR with the standard issue Magnum. In my opinion, I'd say I am an excellent Marksman.
i basically have the same problem. If there is a hardcore HALO fan i really appreciate that if you tell me where to start or where can i read them
Contact Harvest (Technically the 5th book, but the best place to start) > The Fall of Reach > The Flood (novelisation of Halo 1, you can skip it if you've played the game) > First Strike > Ghosts of Onyx.

My favourites are either First Strike or Contact Harvest.
Hope that's helpful :)
Stefan Sjumarken where did you read them? On the internet? (btw thanks)
I bought them haha. I'm sure you can download them for free on THAT website though.
Fred is notorious for the Spartan laser
After the Blue Team videos are done, you should try an Arbiter challenge. Brute Plasma Rifles, Carbines, Energy Swords, Active Camo, and Plasma Grenades.
I know playable elites aren't a thing anymore, but you could at least wear Helioskrill. :)
I've read a few of the books contact harvest (Sgt jhonson) and ghosts of onyx (spartan 3 program) were really good
All three assassinations were on the same guy 😂
my fav type of semi precision would be all railguns
hi nick i love your content and your personality keep up the good work!😁
that moment when you run 3 people over who have a prophets bane with a mongoose
Well have you seen the Halo movie "Fall of Reach?" It tells you how Mastercheif became who he is. The animation may look weird but that's only because its a animated comic. I've seen it with my brother and I enjoyed it A LOT.
Love this series nick
UberNick you are a great warzone player, I love your videos. I play warzone and I only get 3 kills but I have only one hand.
It was the Needle Rifle, it has no moving parts.
my favorite weapon is a brute plasma rifle variant, it's called Scale of Soirapt
"You can't make this shit up...!"
My precise weapon is the battle rifle and covenant carbine 😃👍and awesome video
hey nick have you watched the fall of reach movie thing?
So Nick, I would recommend getting contact harvest first, it is where the UNSC meet the convant, and Srg. Johnson is the main charter. Then I would New blood, because Buck is the main character, overall all the books are great, but there are no particular order.
UberNick I really want to know, Do you like the energy sword,or Gravity hammer more?
Do the grunt challenge. Only plasma pistols, needlers and fuel rod cannons
my favourite precision weapon is the barbed lance op as hell
3 minutes into the video and nick rages R.I.P
What about his DMR dude he always used that in campaign.
You assassinated the same guy 3 times lolol.
My favourite precision weapon is just the good old BR.
Start with The Fall of Reach, then The Flood, and then The Ghost of Onyx. They are pretty good
Oh and First Strike before Ghosts of Onyx
'priciate you
so funny how he calls the enemy stealing the last kill 😂😂😂 sorry @UberNick it's just too funny!
Hi Nick what is that assassination called? Thank you :)
You don't have to scroll to see if you got the most kills, if you have a yellow dot next to your kills at the in game stats screen, it means you had the most. Like at 10:39
Nornfang. I LOOOOOOOVE SNIPING. No. even better, a Nornfang that shoots needle rounds. Kind of like a needle rifle from Halo Reach but better.
One question, who did your intro?
Read either Fall of reach or first strike and then ghosts of onyx. Those are the most essential books.
Halo evolutions will like You, They are just compilations of short stories....
Read Fall of Reach by Eric Nylund. One of my favorite books in general and is the book that got me hooked in Halo lore. BTW, my fave precision weapon is the DMR. Love that gun. sucks it takes 8 REQs to get it though.
Hey Nick I love your vids my favorite halo gun is the needler
What assassination did you put on?
What about prophets bane then switch your weapon when your being the target?
8:25 what if you meet an immovable object?
Wow, there was an enemy with active camo right in front of you at 6:35
