I was very blessed by watching this reflection of Black Women ministry leaders thriving in ministry. What resonated with me the most was the importance of play, leading by the power of God and thinking about moments of recovery in ministry and how recovery in ministry "looks" related to thriving in ministry.
Rev. Moore's honesty cuts deep here: "I wasn't in a good place." The power of God is astounding. I love the humanity of His servants. This initiative is doing incredible work. I just lost my own mother and this work is healing me and strengthening me. This discussion definitely hits me on another level.
I am constantly amazed at the work of seemingly ordinary women and the astounding ways we serve in the midst of living "regular" lives. In these conversations we note the impact someone's thought has in the lives of so many others. Two women that have impacted my life are 1. Aunt Brenda Sexton-Turner for giving me permission to speak. 2. Dr. Frances Cress Welsing for bringing facts to challenge beliefs of inferiority held so long they were presented as truths. Thank you for Ambassador Sujay for featuring Black Women In Ministry who are changing the world.

BWIM Thrive is a life Changing Ministry to women from diverse areas. Each fellow did an awesome job sharing in the interview. It is such an honor and blessing to share in this covenant ministry.
I loved watching these wonderful black women talk. I can see their passion and how God has touched them. They made me think of a new "R" word, REJOICE
What a moment of Vulnerability and regained strength! Greatly appreciate this open and honest conversation.
