I have several strings of lights just like this. They won't turn on. I tried doing what you showed in the video in hopes it would fix the problem. It didn't. Can you tell me how to repair a string like this that doesn't turn on at all? Thank you
I like the video. But I have no idea what you're talking about. How did you know bridging would stop the blicking? How did you know which wire to solder? I guess this is more of an intermediate or "advanced" tutorial.
PCR 406 are Thyristors, in fact is a Sensitive Gate Thyristor, not a Transistor. And the way to fix it, its just replacing the Thyristor's line that is not working. Simple as that, and it will blinks again!!
I just remove the controller all together and reconnect the wires ,simple, same result ,but only on low voltage lights I would never buy those full voltage lights unless you want to electrocute yourself , too dangerous to use here in Australia our electricity runs on 240 volts and those wires are way too thin,
Small theory. Will replacing the dreaded controller box with a proper plug-in low voltage transformer (2 pin socket on the cable end that connects to a transformer brick, such as Jutai power system) actually help, or is it a huge risk to attempt?
I try without the command but only one led on two works. I think i need to change something in the circuit but dont know what... I Will be grateful for your help :)
Probably a Democrat/Liberal. Most people would never do this complicated procedure. Better and easier solutions available if you take your time and look it up properly.
Thank you, they drive me crazy each day having to keep pressing for the right mode. 😃
Thanks! Now I don’t have to swear every time I flip my light switch on and those little buggers start blinking. My rage is gone. Thanks DavisTech!
OMG I just did this and worked !!! The lights are now not blinking !! Thanks for this amazing video !!!
Exactly what I was looking to do. Thank you so much - it worked perfectly!
Thyristors , not transistors ! What a shitty soldering ...
you can conect them straith to mains
Made my girlfriend very happy. Thank you.
Wow, worked great!
Thank you very much!
You are a live savior. Thank you
Great video... Helped me a lot. Thanks.
I have the new type of pcb which do not have the big transistors, any idea how to do it?
I have this very same problem.

The series I have doesn't have the transistors
Isn't it cheaper to use one long LED strip with a simple driver than to use many of these flashing ones?
Any tip how to make thw gren leds work again? So all are working except green. All the wires seem to be soldered so no broken ones on the chipset
Great fix!
Thanks, It worked perfectly.. God bless you,
No problem.
Is it possible to bypass the board an connect it directly?

Honestly, I had no clue. I just messed around on the board (carefully) until I found that the blinking circuit stopped.
@davistechjajajaja 😂😂😂 ok👍🏼 from🇲🇽
Thanks from India 😊😊😊 .
Thank you for this 👍
OMG thanks so much that's a relief
No problem.
thanks brother. 😊

Hi ! Can you help me with this model ? That will be handsome ! :)
Its a picture of my led lighting

Well, with this fix the led lights work for a while (several days) and then just stop working :
5mins and 21secs for 3 secs info
